Police called on one night due to the noise and disruption they were causing in my corridor between 0001 and 0400

Not great - Broken facilities and was given a dirty room

The first room I was given had a pungent smell of cigarettes, with lipstick stains and marks in the bathroom that were not cleaned. I asked to move rooms which they did with no hesitation, however my new room had a kettle with a "DO NOT USE - FIRE HAZARD" test label on it, so I could not make my dinner, and the AC was also broken! - It either blasted super hot air with an error code message displaying, or to turn it off and be freezing. Two rooms that shouldn't have been served!

Camper42442824846 Business - TripAdvisor review

Booked for 3 nights with my work but only checked in for the last night. Desk staff woman, when she finally saw fit to acknowledge me, snapped, “ Have you paid for early check in?” before actually finding my reservation. Room basic, blood or ketchup on bedside light switch, you would stay here if you really couldn’t find the means for anything else in Sheffield. Terrible area with no restaurants unless you’re a fan of Eritrean food. Due to limitations walking I attempted to order food at the counter adjacent to checkin. The man checking people in was also the waiter and bartender so service was, let’s say slow. A family of 5 ordered ahead of me and I was told because of this unexpected and demanding situation I would have to wait a minimum of 25 minutes! Sheffields worst offering to date.

We had asked for a family room with extra bed for my daughter - we arrived and the extra bed was not even made up and unsuitable so we booked another hotel immediately and did not Stay - we have still been charged for the first night stay / which I would like a refund for as had to cover the cost of another suitable hotel room

Sorry we were unaware that the room was to be made up as a twin and as you explained yourself upon check in it was your husband that had made the booking for you. Subsequently this was then rectified as soon as possible. Unfortunately a refund was not available for the 1st night however the 2nd night was refunded at the desk. Breakfast was also booked and taken the following morning with us. We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Sincerely,
