the bathroom had stepped access, not ideal for those in an unfamiliar setting or with accessibility needs ~ there was no bath just a shower with cubicle doors that didn't close and had holes instead of handles, so guess where the water went ... the lighting was either on or off, as there was no main room light the absurd 'bedside' lamps served that function but didn't have a dimmer ~ the metres of cable decoratively festooned from the lamps was just ridiculous ... the arrangement of power sockets was peculiar, mainly consisting of a dangerous looking cube shaped extension lead, very odd. The room was stiflingly hot with no AC, an inadequate fan was provided instead ~ if you have your windows open expect to be disturbed when bins are emptied around 6am
