The hotel is within easy reach on foot of the railway station, by a route that is fairly level. Just what I needed for a night's stay. A minor quibble is that the milk tubs in the room are whole milk UHT. However, the very friendly and helpful reception staff member did get me some semi-skimmed fresh milk from the kitchen, which made my tea taste much better.

Room was good for what we needed. We choose to eat at the hotel and the food was very disappointing. Ordered the ceasar salad what we got was a salad covered in cheap garlic sauce and a lightly toasted medium white sliced bread cut into soldiers. Definitely not a ceasar salad. Chips were frozen cheap Iceland chips at the best.

Clean, comfortable and convenient stay. I stay here for work as my train arrives late into Sheffield (21:30) and it is near to the station. One issue I would mention, though, is that I'm a women and traveling alone and I get a taxi from the station as the walk goes through quite a deserted and poorly lit area. I've walked it once and didn't feel comfortable doing so.

The room was comfortable and clean and nothing to fault about it The bathroom as well was in good standard and the shower was lovely but part of the door seemed to have some sort of dirt in it
