I stay here a couple of times a year, and the hotel is perfectly situated for Ponds Forge. It isn't fancy but it's a comfortable bed, good breakfast and helpful staff.

We always stay in Ibis, centre, due to location and price. Booked through Accor website, as usual. Great price, even tho we changed our booking, but was sorted out quickly. I originally booked with my points, but had these put back in my account. Great breakfast, as usual.

Room was good as expected for a budget room, practical with everything we needed for our stay. Unfortunately the fire alarm went off at 1.30am so we had to evacuate, thankfully not for longand it went off. The exit a few of us left by at the bottom of the stairs there were no staff members there to check wveryone was ok and to give us the ok to entre the building. This meant I felt unsettled going back to our room and slept poorly, obviously the fire alarm going off couldn't be helped and I don't have an issue with having to evacuate, a visible staff presence would have been reassuring

Regarding the fire alarm we do apologise for any confusion , the member of staff on duty was dealing with it as efficiently as possible and following fire training procedures. The instructions for the fire assembly point is noted on the inside of each hotel room door which guides you leave through an emergency exit then make your way to the front of the hotel on the opposite side of the road. The night staff where at the front making guests aware it was a false alarm and someone had pressed the fire button instead of the bell for reception. We do apologise once again for the disturbance caused. Sincerely,

Friendly & helpful staff covering front desk, bar, breakfast , tables (extremely versatile)! Very clean & comfy stay. Breakfast choices were very good too. Good choice of hotel for us to attend Transplant Games events + catch the tram nearby. Only downside was the scruffy road to walk into the city centre (Dixon St), but of course this is outside the remit of the Ibis!

Comfortable but the room was very warm, despite a fan and heating system fan on coolest setting.

We booked this hotel for our trip to Tramlines festival. It was about an hour walk away but very easy to get to and lots of transport opportunities. The hotel is basic but has everything you need is very clean. The cleaning staff were lovely and left the room spotless and the lady on the check in desk was very friendly and helpful. Thank you!
