I booked disabled room for myself and my carer only problem we had was they was only one bath towel and only one chair in a two bedded room my carer had to go for another bath town and she had to sit on the bed, Only two teabags and two coffee sachets

Lovely clean, quiet room. Had everything you need. Unfortunately I left my phone plug/charger behind. When I called later that evening it had not been handed in. Note to self, double check before vacating.

I asked for a quiet room; this was respected. Reception staff showed concern and offered help when it looked as though I needed it. The staff were great; really friendly helpful and pleasant, but importantly, very professional (the one rather surly character could be 'talked around'). The room was clean and comfortable (I find Ibis beds really comfortable; more so than some Mercure beds), bathroom clean, appliances and lighting in working order. The window could be opened, which is always a plus. I had food there one evening, and it was good.

Very central, not far from train station. Stayed for a week for work. Shower head was slightly dislodged from holder and had reservations over the toilet flush. Thankfully neither proved to be an issue. Room service was not available, although you could carry own meal up and down in the lift. Seemed quite odd as a guest, but again, no big issue. Quality of food was poor though. Number of plates which were available 24/7, presumably microwave meals, being sold for £10+ with ASB awful side salad comprising of bitter leaves and flavourless tomatoes. Not great selection for vegetarians. Main incident was when the fire alarm was triggered at 02:15am on Friday morning because someone was smoking in their room. There was no evacuation, presumably because they had pinpointed cause and location of alarm. Terrible experience (although not the fault of the hotel), could not get back to sleep as my heartbeat was through the roof. Some guests carrying crates of Stella up to their rooms and the students setting off fire alarms whilst drunk in their rooms did not endear me to the clientele staying here throughout the week. Not even a weekend. Overall, served it’s purpose, staff were great, friendly service throughout and couldn’t have been more apologetic for fire alarm incident.

Ideally located and not to far from the centre or the railway station. Easy to check in and out. Hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. Would happily book again if I was in Sheffield!

The bathroom had hair in it and dead insects. The last night the fire alarm went off at 2pm. No explanation or apology in the morning. That morning, a half naked woman in a thong was screaming in the corridor for half an hour. Other than that, staff very pleasant, good location.

Not enough information was given especially on parking at the hotel which was expensive despite given a discount voucher to park at near by car park. The room was not up to standard with not enough toilet paper, shower gel and overall comfort of a constant noise from a construction site near by all night. Breakfast was standard not even a proper faciality to take away as I did have an early engagement.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good location, easy walk to the Bus/Rail Interchange. Fitzalan Square tram stop is adjacent to the bridge by the hotel. .Quite a steep walk to the city centre, My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Have stayed here on previous occasions, hope to return next year.

Another great stay, although short due to the restrictions/rules of been in tier 3 but at least I was able to see my son for Christmas. The staff were friendly and very helpful as they always are. The room was clean and tidy.

Had a medical issue which the staff dealt with very well. Good hotel for Ponds Forge International Sports Centre. Restaurant had a wide menu at good prices. Staff courteous and attentive. Would stay here again.
