Great location. Check in was interesting. Had to wait quite some time for staff. They were busy and clearly some of the staff were not doing things as they were supposed to be done as heard a few cross words. It was not a great first impression. I put it down to Covid. Breakfast arrived on time but watery scrambled eggs and tough bacon. Left most of it. If I stay here again I will not have breakfast.

after having checked in online before my journey I arrived at hotel to be told I could not have my room unless I gave prove of the reason for my journey. This is a complete violation of my personal privacy as I have NEVER been asked to do this before. Apparently the hotel is under regular police checks to limit public travel. I informed the hotel manager the lockdown was over from 12th April and free movement is allowed. I was spoken to sharply and unprofessionally and will NEVER stay at this hotel chain again nor will any of my staff. I was forced to sign a disclaimer which i signed. Also witnessed same manager turn away a young couple with a small child who same as me checked in online with no difficulties and no warnings about reasons for travel and were TURNED AWAY at the late evening. My feelings and sympathies were with that young couple and I hold your chain responsible should anything have happened to them. Absolutely disgusted at this hotel. I have stayed at Manchester and Edinburgh Novotels over the years and this behaviour witnessed at NOVOTEL MILTON KEYNES will be put all over my social media with advice to avoid at all costs. I hope this review makes it to you platform and you have my Accor account and email to contact me should you wish for verification

In a good location, enjoyed my short stay, even in these covid times the hotel was run very well... breakfast was served in my room at precisely the time ordered, gym and pool facilities open ( will definitely use them next time )

There is no pre-authorized payment offered. The staff are courteous but do not seem to be aware of best practice. The room is spacious and relatively quiet. The beds are firm, which is much appreciated for back support. The food is good although it could do with more desserts options (probably not available because of covid?). A lot of space on the car park. Altogether, a restful, pleasant stay. Memberships are not automatically linked via the CAPITA booking website.

Between 6 to 9/04/21 and 12 to 16/04/21 I didn’t know I needed to insert 3 or 4 nights for my car. The dispatcher missed to informing how to use it. I hope I don’t get a ticket. Many thanks.

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past and it used to be a pleasant experience. On this occasion I checked in with my partner and we were not only interrogated about the reason for our stay but we were asked for our papers. Luckily my partner had her Key Worker documents, these were then photocopied. We have stayed in many hotels since they re-opened and never been subjected to this kind of treatment. We won't be staying again.

An ok 3-star hotel with decent sized rooms that are a little dated now. Staff are helpful but processes are on the slow side. Plus there are always small minor issues... nothing catastrophic, just missing toiletries and other amenities, tv remotes, mini bars missing, water not re-stocked, towels not replaced etc. I haven’t yet stayed and not had any issues...however small - perhaps its covid related with fewer staff? But comfortable bed and ease of commute means I re-book.

I only stayed over the one night while I working in the area. The rooms were nice and clean and spacious. Everything was fine for my stay and I enjoyed the breakfast.

I’ve recently stayed in the hotel for training purposes. All the staff working there were really helpful. I had a chat with them at the reception and I felt cared for and well looked after. I had some special requirements which were acknowledged and sorted out for me promptly. The service was really good. I was also really happy with the room I had, it was quiet, clean and spacious. Highly recommended!

Was not a great stay with multiple hiccups: given keys that don’t work, then given keys that work and one of the 2 rooms booked was occupied. Told over the phone that my swimming session booking was valid but then on arrival told it was not valid. Then told it is valid and that the pool has capacity for 13. There was 11 in there already so don’t understand how adding 5 more would be complying to social distancing rules. This resulted in a confrontation between guests, the other guest going to complain to reception who comes over and accuses us of being rude to another guest without hearing both sides of a story. One of our showers was not working And this was never resolved and the level of moisture in the room was so high it felt like we were in a steam room. Staff were clearly overwhelmed and Clearly weren’t support well.
