Check-in on arrival was smooth and efficient, and the room was clean and well presented. Although the heater requested during the reservation process was not initially in the room, it was delivered promptly within 10 minutes of notifying the reception staff. The following morning, I discovered that the shower plug was stuck and the water did not drain properly after use. After informing a member of the housekeeping staff, an engineer arrived within five minutes and resolved the issue promptly. However, the next morning I was unable to use the shower, as the engineer had switched the control from shower mode to tap mode, and I could not find sufficiently clear instructions on how to switch it back. I checked out later that morning after a two-night stay. Aside from the bathroom inconvenience, I had a very enjoyable and peaceful stay. The room was quiet, and the bed was comfortable.

We had a lovely stay and were surprised given the reviews I read previously. Restaurant and communal areas were lovely and rooms were spotless and comfortable. The Beds were very comfortable and as good as other chains in the same price bracket. Bathrooms were very clean and have branded toiletries in the room. Toilet was separate which I why I knocked off a star but it didn’t take away from the stay. Loads to do locally with children and will return. Staff were helpful but appeared a little stressed and witnessed complaints about not having a break, which might be good to feedback to supervisors. I also suggest the pool time be increase to 45-60 mins and 30 mins is very short. Overall I would recommend Novotel Milton Keynes.

I had a day long break at MK and stayed in this hotel. The swimming pool, breakfast, service, room, everything was satisfactory. We got a big room. My 5 years old daughter really enjoyed the swimming and the dry sauna was also healing for me.

The check in and checkout were smoothly done. I found the room temperature cooling, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast very adequate and tasty. I also enjoyed the location with a lot of vegetation around and a wood which one could explore just across the road.

First night had issues with a guest drunk and keeping us awake all night staff did what they could to help the situation but had the door closed in there faces. These people should be banned from rebooking. The staff moved us and the second night was perfect. The rooms are always spotless when we stay and the staff are helpful and friendly. Shame the noisy drunk guest ruined our first night. The pool is lovely and the food was also excellent we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts and the selection was excellent
