Great location, close to public transport, and around the corner from an interesting neighbourhood, with a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. Reception staff were lovely, as were the breakfast staff who worked so hard. We did have to ask for the room to be cleaned a couple of times when we arrived back in the afternoon after being out for the day, and amenities were sometimes not replenished.

Unbelievably hot rooms. Air con was extremely loud and barely made a difference. Was lucky it was in the middle of winter and I could open the windows

As I have come to expect from Mercure, the hotel was lovely. Good location and well appointed with good staff and amenities. However, I wasn’t aware that there was ongoing construction on the building. My partner and I were woken twice by drilling or hammering both mornings we stayed at around 8:30/9am. Not ideal!
