Everything was fine! As a disabled visitor I would have appreciated better lighting on pathways to the rooms, and an antislip mat in the bath as well as a grab rail to make things more secure

We only stayed for one night, but the refurbishment of the hotel has made a massive improvement. Our room was perfect (hoping I can get the same room in February when we have re-booked this hotel!). The staff were lovely, very accommodating and the food in the restaurant was delicious (last time we stayed, there was no food - so again, a massive improvement!). Our only item that could have been better, was that I had requested a ground floor room when I booked the room, and also separately via email direct with the hotel. When we arrived (after Online check-in), our room was on the first floor! Thankfully, the lovely lady on reception managed to change it for us and the room ended up being absolutely brilliant (even though my disabled mother couldn't get in the bath as no hand rails! in Room 12). Also - the booking would have benefitted the option of paying for our dogs at time of booking, rather than having to add a further £20 (£10 per dog per night) when we arrived. The cost of the pet is not provided on the website, this cost should be stated when booking. Overall, a lovely stay, one we will be repeating in February and hope for at least the same level of service as this time.

Disappointed to be led in the wrong direction due to an incorrect post code on the information provided. Reception staff was helpful and courteous. Room was clean and suffice to my needs although it is a pity that curtains have to be closed to prevent people looking in. Breakfast was satisfactory although some food items were a little 'tough'.

Confusion over advertised post code against what was the actual code. Room was made up for a single occupancy. Ie 1 bath towel one hand towel and three pillows. The alleyway to the room was scruffy with dirty linen on full view. If it has to be outside build a fence and hide it. The room was too far from reception to entice us to breakfast.

Only problem is the postal code is no good for drivers as it does not work

rooms were clean, breakfast was adequate. Only one bath towel for two people. Could have done with additional pillows as I like to sleep with two not one.

If you are happy to stay in a motel style complex expect to be disturbed by other customers who do not give a damn about anyone else. We were woken at 3.30 by people arriving in the next room. Then for two hours several other 'visitors' came to the room. That morning as we were leaving our room one of the staff had been sent to look at next door as the msnager was not happy with the person who had been there. Do not know the outcome of the inspection but we were given an apology by the manager. Save to say we won't be staying here again.

After checking in we were concerned that the rooms were in a seperate building and the building looked a bit dated and tired. However, the rooms were extremely pleasant, modern and warm. Nobody in our group had any issues at all and it was a great night stay. The bathroom was lovely and shower was very good. We decided to have breakfast in the morning, again no problems at all. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of food and drinks on offer. Overall a very pleasing stay and would definatley stay here again.

The hotel room was clean, the water for the shower was hot and the heating allowed me to keep the temperature at a comfortable level but I felt a bit exposed in the motel style rooms where anyone could approach my room and see into it, especially as I was on the ground floor.

The TV only could receive 2 channels, BBC 1 or 2, both of them would then had a broken signal. The room was in a motel style setting and cold on first arrival. Overpriced drinks at the bar, first morning the scrambled eggs tasted of either powdered or ready made eggs in a carton, either way disgusting. So I avoided them afterwards, wouldn't stay there again in future. I wouldnt recommend it as it's so cut off from everything else.

Only stayed one night. Room nice and breakfast tasty. Hard to find with SatNav as took us to a dead end and had to figure out how to get to hotel.

The hotel is much better after the refurbishment, but on the last two occasions I have stayed the room has not been ready for me despite paying for the early access.

Great staff at reception. However the curtains in the room was a see through and anyone walking behind the room could see you inside with the lights on. It was a shame so couldn't sleep there for the night. Had other residents walking to their rooms and they could see us.
