I can't say we were very impressed. A few small changes would have made it satisfactory but with so many things that were wrong it is really hard to want to stay again. Driving in, the hotel looked tired and dated. The room smelt damp, very noticeable as soon as we walked in. The curtain wasn't properly attached so lots of light was let through. Probably a simple fix so having it broken felt quite poor. The noise - the walls to the outside were very thin and we were woken up by the sound of a trolley rattling past at 6am and many times there were people walking past which sounded as if there was no wall there. The hook on the bathroom for the towel was bent down/broken. The breakfast pretty good (hash browns were possibly the hightlight of the stay), a fried egg option would have been nice. I'd say if the breakfast was £7 I'd have been very impressed, at almost £10 one more egg option would have been nice. No hand towel in the bathroom. Light on the wall had a fixing plug that was out. I do believe with some of these being fixed i would feel much more positive, but there were just constant things to notice that were wrong.
