I’ve stayed in Adagio apartments / rooms before and always been very satisfied and Liverpool didn’t disappoint. It’s very well located ..right next to the Mersey rail station and an easy 10 minute walk from Lime St train station. Reception staff were very helpful and attentive … the room was quiet and clean and the kitchen area had enough equipment required to prepare meals / snacks for a short stay. I was at an event at the Adelphi hotel so this apartment was very convenient as it’s very central and only a 2 minute walk away.

There is a kitchen (quite small, but still convenient). I liked the location — it’s very close to two train stations, and about a 20-minute walk to the waterfront. The bed was large and comfortable. There was a strong smell of cigarettes in the corridors and even in the room, although smoking is supposedly not allowed. Cleanliness could be improved: the breakfast dishes had stains, the cups were dirty, and the room itself was dusty. The bathroom was not very clean either — it was especially noticeable on the dark walls and tiles. The breakfast was very basic. There was also a pillar in the middle of the room, which took up space and made it difficult to move around.

Location great. Staff great. The bedsheets were a bit too thin and could have been bigger. I was a bit cold at night. Good experience though.
