Room smelled so strong of ammonia I had to keep window open. Hair and gunk in sink. Dirty towels. And mattress did not have a cover. Worst experience of a hotel ever. So dirty and to think it cost me £600 for 5 nights.

What you described is far below our usual standards, and we sincerely apologize for the discomfort and inconvenience this caused. However, we are extremely surprised that the issues were only brought to our attention AFTER you checked out from your 5 nights stay. By doing so, you've not given us the opportunity to fix any of your concerns as, had we been made aware, the Team would have happily offer appropriate solutions to make your time with us much more comfortable. Meanwhile, be assured that we are addressing these matters urgently with our Head Housekeeper and Maintenance Engineer to ensure they do not happen again. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us and we hope you will give us another chance to provide you with the quality experience you should always expect. the front staff were so friendly and lovely and supplied us with ice for our drinks and helped us with parking and finding our way around. they were ace and we had a great time! It was easy to get around from here too.

Overall very happy except for we sometimes got a rather strong sewerage smell in the bathroom after a shower
