My husband and I both love coming back to this hotel as we got married here, it feels like you’re in a mini resort when you’re visiting. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming and the rooms are always very clean and comfortable. We had no problems with any sound complaints and had the best night sleep in the large comfortable beds. The restaurant was lovely food was excellent. We can’t wait to come back!

We came to stay for a special occasion and were upgraded to the 3 bedroom penthouse which was just utterly incredible. The views to the golf course were gorgeous and the apartment was impeccably finished. The beds were super comfy and enormous! We enjoyed the spa facilities which were also great and the pool is nice and large too. The breakfast was the best we had all had with plenty of choice. It did get rather busy around half 9 / 10am so earlier was better (but they tell you that!). The staff were all very polite, helpful and we had an outstanding experience. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We would 100% recommend and return!

The hotel and staff were fantastic with very comfortable, spacious rooms and helpful staff. I was disappointed finding there was no choice but the carvery for dinner on the Sunday evening as thi option really didn’t suit me. The other guests in my party enjoyed it though. The spa and treatment were great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our hotel stay, loved the spa facilities a. enjoyed the gym. However, we were disappointed with the dinner as we felt the menu was very limited a. the food wasn’t great. We would look to eat elsewhere if we came again. The spa treatments are very expensive too so we no longer have them which is a shame as they used to be an enjoyable part of our stay.

On arrival the staff were not too welcoming at reception… gave name, and they pointed to Kings restaurant ‘that’s where you have your breakfast and that was it ! We were not aware rooms didnt have air conditioning and luckily they had a fan delivered. The spa facilities were good ie massage however, no drinking water at pool 🏊 and whilst sat outside no one came to ask if we wanted tea or coffee or a drink. The theme of the hotel was hard to distinguish lots of lions statutes, a horse and a gorilla. The room we stayed in was a little tired and the patio outside needed a clean up. We watched the England game multiple TVS and lots of staff were making merry am sure they work very hard so nice to see. Maybe the Spa facilities should be closer to the pool so you don’t have to wander thru reception in your gown… it’s a lovely location but more geared towards the old boys club golf etc.. not so much for ladies wanting a quiet spa day night away to relax. All in all, we enjoyed the experience so thank you.

Everything was very good. The only downside was that our superior room, had no air conditioning, only a fan that had seen better days. The receptionist informed us none of the rooms have air conditioning. Quite a surprise. I asked if maybe we could have two fans as the room temperature was very hot. No extra fan arrived. It was impossible to sleep. Making our room not quite so superior.

Comfy rooms, used the pool & surrounding facilities which were all very clean. The food in both the Sports bar & breakfast were of a good quality, fresh & hot.

A friend and I had a spa break. We were greeted very pleasantly by reception, as we expected our room was not ready as we arrived just after 11am. We were offered to leave our bags and went to explore and get some lunch. We later returned to reception and our room still wasn’t ready but we were offered an accessible room which was ready. We were happy with this and the room was fine although not in the main hotel block and no air conditioning or a fan. We had a lovely afternoon using the spa and had a lovely evening meal. However on our return to our room it was incredibly hot so we opened the windows and door as we were on the ground floor. We made the decision to leave the door half open with the table in front of it to prevent anyone entering. Unfortunately at 2.30 am we were awoken by a man trying to enter our room. Luckily we both woke and the man retreated. I would like to hope that it was simply someone trying to return to the wrong room. We were some what shell shocked and didn’t report it at the time as wanted to go back to sleep. We had treatments booked the following morning so did not report it then either. But now having thought about the experience we feel we should let you know.
