Reunion with a group of 4 old school friends, we used the Novotel as a base for an overnight stop, went for a curry and watched the saints football! Nice receptionist, nice bar and nice overall stop

Whilst the staff are very helpful and friendly the hotel is essentially broken. The room was very cold (aircon installed but not working as others have said) and bare. The lift doors struggled to open, water drained from the wash basin very slowly, the sound was awful on the TV. All little things but together they mount up. We were only staying for one night pre-cruise. We’ll go somewhere else next time.
