Room given on first floor when a party had been booked, so for me being not attended if party had to put up with the noise, also fire alarm constantly going off on during the day, lost count after 14 times

Hotel was great location which suited us. The only thing that let it down was the issues we had with the bathroom.

Quite a good stay but a few niggles with the room - stained curtains, broken bed, broken lightswitch by bathroom, upon checkout was told I owed £40 for car parking when it should have been £20 (this was eventually sorted when the shift manager was called to help) Otherwise all good.

The location is very convenient, it was quiet and the bed was super comfortable so we slept really well. Only downsides are the tiny shower, the lack of space to store clothes (only a really small wardrobe already half full of other items). What mostly dropped the mark down was the expensive parking, it's way too expensive.

Hotel was clean and tidy and staff helpful. Fire alarm started going off at 4am and continued going off through the early hours , so we asked for a refund on our second night stay at the hotel. Hotel reception were very good and did this promptly without question. Shame nice hotel but was spoilt by this as did not get a nights sleep , so we left the hotel and moved to another hotel for our second night

Great play area for the children, breakfast was great - cleanliness of rooms not very good especially in current climate

I thought the play area for the children was great and kept them entertained whilse we had a drink. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have seen and you had thought of everything. My only complaint would be the cleanliness of the room, the shower was blocked with hairs and therefore just filled up with water. The bath tub and sink had hairs in so hadn't been cleaned very well after previous guests. I also didn't like that there was no sink next to the toilet especially with the corona virus at the moment it isnt good to not be able to wash your hands straight away.

Wonderfully helpful staff, with great local knowledge. I would highly recommend this hotel. Clean, efficient, delightful food and welcoming bar staff. Breakfast was a joy.

The hotel is 5 minutes walk from Southampton Central and car parking is available close to the hotel. The staff are excellent and were really helpful. The evening meal was delicious; chicken tikka masala - well presented and very tasty.

Room with level entry shower requested only to find a bath instead. One sink open to drains. Reserved seat in restaurant when we turned up we were told it was closed. On second night firealarm kept sounding intermittently from 4am until we checked out. Unable to sleep and ruined breakfast. No apology offered when I raised this at the desk. Emailed hotel to complain but no reply as yet.

We have allocate your room in the room 324 as per your request about accessible bathroom I am really sorry that this have created inconveniences for you. I am also very sorry that our restaurant was closed during your stay, unfortunately because of low occupancy due to the virus we need to limited our public area, however I do understand your frustration as it was special occasion for you and your wife. Regarding the fire alarm please accept my truly apology, I do understand that this created a very big bad experience. We are really trying provide to our guest the best service I am sorry that this time we failed on the check out. To make your experience better I would love to offer you a 25% of refund from your final bill or I can added to your loyalty account 2000.00 points which will make you straight away our Silver member. Despite the problems with the ongoing Virus situation I found the hotel and staff to be as welcoming as usual. Some of them remembered me from my last visit last year, it game a much more welcoming experiance for me.

The bedrooms are very confused, half modern half stuck in the 1970’s, but that wasn’t the issue, the issue was the rock hard bed which meant I couldn’t sleep and the next morning I could hardly move.
