front of house staff really helpful restaurant is good the room is quite comfortable except the heating is not up to standards, however we are allowed to use a separate heater which is good.

Arrived early and was allowed access to the pool which was very relaxing, room was spacious and comfortable, had a very nice 3 course meal and breakfast was very plentiful

Upon arriving to check in, I was made aware that there had been a leak on one of the floors, so there was no room available, and I would be put into the Ibis next-door instead. I was not explained anything about the price, and had to query as Novotel was about to take payment. I was quoted 99GBP which was higher than the 70GBP quoted on the Ibis board outside Ibis. I then checked the Accor website, which quoted 57GBP for the night. Even then, Novotel insisted that 99GBP was the rate, until they could get confirmation from Ibis. I then checked in at Ibis, and went up to the room, which had not been cleaned - the bed was not made and there were dirty mugs/eaten food in the room.

Great hotel, close to train station and with a gym. Room was very comfortable and spacious with some nice additional touches that I was surprised other hotels dis not have.

Booked through central reservation a executive room but received a sub standard room not good.

Clean and presentable throughout. Pleasant and helpful staff. Shame one had to pay for parking. This could have been covered by hotel!

Very disappointed to find the hotel pool was out of action.The room was on the cool side and heating did not function.Had to request an external heater.

Hotel is really located for all the attractions and shopping in Southampton. Hotel is really clean and comfortable, with all amenities. Great options at breakfast - although my son wasn't pleased that the pancake machine wasn't working!

The staff at this hotel were very helpful, especially the young girl who brought up extra bedding when we asked. My hotel room 521 was spotlessly clean & had everything that you could possibly require. The hotel is well located for West Quay shopping centre & plenty of places to eat.
