The room was a big disappointment. Very dark. Window to inner courtyard. When window is open a very noisy ventilation noise from outside cannot be overheard. All night long.

I booked a room with total area of 236sqf approximately 22 sqm. I got an underground 12 sqm room with a 2 sqm toilet and shower. The room has no windows just has an access to the ducting facility.

This hotel is in a great location and surprisingly quiet for the area. We loved the room and how it has been newly renovated. The staff were friendly and helpful. Extra points for the number of power sockets in the room - plenty even for the most digitally dependant guest.

Comfortable, quiet and great location for a hotel when flying in/out of Heathrow via Heathrow Express. Standards all you would expect of Mercure, except for the breakfast arrangements, which falls slightly below par in terms of comfort, ambiance and buffet.

the room was tiny and and not as usual considering my previous experiences, wind entering from the window. safety box was locked phone was not working no laundry backs. generally the room was not up to date in terms for ambiance too.

Enjoyed a one night stay at the hotel, from start to finish it was excellent. Upon arrival received a upgrade to a suite which was a lively surprise as was the afternoon tea treats. Super comfy bed and the little extras were a welcome touch such as the bathroom under floor heating. Varied breakfast to cater for all diets. Very convenient location to Paddington station. From the moment my husband and I arrived at the hotel we were treated to the best service from your staff. They were friendly, professional and did everything to make our stay comfortable. It is important to give a special call out to the staff at reception. Both girls on the day of our arrival (midday) offered great service. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel next time we are in London. Thank you!

Location: Close to Paddington, but *too* close to the other Mercure that's right at Paddington - a bit confusing to find, especially since you need to loop around a block to get to the entrance. Room: Comfortable and big enough, however: 1. Poor sound insulation from the hallway. We could hear every footstep, every door opening/closing, every lift bell 2. Warm room - Even though the temperature was set to 18 and the fan was set to maximum, the room was warm. We had to open the window just to let cooler air in.

We enjoyed our stay with the Mercure in Hyde Park. The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful and the room clean and well maintained. I would certainly stay here again as it was located just close enough to Paddington Station to make traveling around the city just easy.

Location was okay, regarding city center or getting to airport. We had family room, it was located in basement, room overall okay, but 2 things - noise coming from upper floor was annoying and smell in room - i do not know what cleaning agent are used, but they very intense, too intense.

Decent stay. Room was a little small compared to some but everything was provided. Breakfast was great, like the idea of ordering your own cooked breakfast along with the buffet.
