First night in room 701 was so so noisy. I couldn’t sleep - it’s like there’s an extractor fan on the wall behind the headboard. I had to try and sleep with AirPods in my ears. Staff were very helpful and moved me to a different room which was much better and night 2 was a much better experience. Just a pity that night 1 was so bad. Not very conducive for business meetings.

Stayed for 2 nights at the end of April, chose a larger room which was slightly cosier than expected but still very nice. Received a drinks voucher on arrival as an Accor member and staff very friendly and accommodating, a very convenient location

The hotel is well located in a quiet area and fairly close to Paddington station. However, staff lack warmth and service does not match Mercure standards in my opinion. Rooms are decently sized as per London standards but are not sound proof.
