Excellent experience with top class service especially from the convenient Bella Italia restaurant located on the hotel grounds…all staff were friendly too which made it even more comforting…the room was impeccable and when we requested cleaning on the room we came back to a spotless room thanks to the excellent cleaning staff ye have available..overall we had a great time and loved staying at your hotel.

The hotel presents itself well and the staff were helpful and engaging. However, a number of "niggles" - not all due to the hotel itself - compromised our enjoyment. These included: - the changeover from the day shift to the night time shift reduced the interpersonal skill level of the staff - the drone of the air-conditioning units outside the window (Rm101) - the brightness of the "Do not disturb" light (Why have blackout curtains with lights you can't turn off?) - a certain lack of bar stock (There were sliced limes in the water jug but none available for a drink)

The hotel is located next to student halls so is excrement noisy All night long, emailed prior to stay to request interconnecting rooms to be told this was fine but was not given one which was a nightmare with 4 children 2 of whom are diabetic and need extra attention during the night time ! Booked restaurant only to turn up and it was closed we had no notification of this and when I asked the guy on reception for any nearby places to eat he just basically ignored me! This left me without a reservation in London on New Year’s Day with 4 children as previously mentioned 2 have diabetes and need to eat regularly ! We will not be returning here

We booked this room last minute because we needed one more night in London. The staff was great and after a week at another hotel trudging up and down stairs, it was a godsend to be given a ground floor room. (Although, they do have an elevator.) Would definitely stay here again when near Paddington.

1. I await the credit of 50% back. Have you done it yet ? 2. I gave you a chance…… 3. The next thing will be serious adverse report on all the relevant websites. 4. Call the hotel. Check out the facts. Make the beds. Get rid of the fag ends and the cigarette packets. The half chewed biscuits 5. Call yourself 4 star boutique ? Don’t think so

Room had damp stains on the wall and dust in the light. Bed was very uncomfortable and you have to pay £25 just incase you use their room service which should be a choice and should be mentioned a lot more clearly instead of only when you arrive

Room was clean and cozy but there were a few things that we weren't too happy with such as when we arrived at the room there was a puddle of water around the toilet, the sanitary bags box was laying on the floor and looked like it had fallen from the wall and the wallpaper and painting could do with touching up in some places. Duvet was rather large and heavy, air con was not cold enough but it wouldn't go below 18 degrees horrendous jet engine noise started around 2am coming from the vent in the room and kept us awake but the room was very clean, safe was a perfect size, fridge was cold and we had all the little things we could of needed whilst we stayed. Breakfast was not very good though as we ordered a full english and they both came without sausages were overcooked and stone cold but the atmosphere was good. We would stay again if the duvet was lighter and the noise was gone and the repairs and maintenance were taken taken off as well as having your own restaurant for buffet food which is hot and cold would be great.

Stayed with them for 2 nights for my 2 year anniversary and they were amazing! Did everything to make our stay as welcoming as possible

Arrived after a long +4 hour journey. I always pre pay and pre book in advance as a member. So was very disappointed to be informed when I checked in that my 2 night junior suite booking wasn't going to be honoured. It was available on the 2nd night which meant I had to come back the next day and just to unpack all over again. Paying close to 900 pounds and given no explanation by the manager on the front desk is not good customer service. Instead I was given money off the next day and a free breakfast. I was told I had a suite downstaairs wich turned out to be the smallest room i have ever stayed in. The money was not the isssue it was the inconvenience and being fobbed off that concerned me the most. Seeing that I booked a suite for myself and my partner I felt very dissatisfied. Still no explanantion... why should I chase this up? Seeing as there are plenty of very good hotels in the area I thought I would be reassured that the next time I chose to book and pay in advance, my room would be availble. On a plus side the room was ready by 12 the next day and immaculately cleaned by the cleaner who I thanked. First time this has happened to me at Mercure Hyde Park but I have seen other guest given the same treatment. I would appreciate an answer.

Excellent hotel with great friendly staff. I have no complaints at all. Fantastic location, very handy for train and tube stations. Room was spotless and well appointed. Will definitely stay there again.
