The room (701) was in the basement, rather compact and the outside space / "terrace" was unpleasant. No hot water (despite running the shower and taps for several minutes) and the bathroom basin plug wouldn't open.

Good overall. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located. Stairways and corridors are narrow. Meeting room in the basement was slightly cramped for our numbers. T/c facility and lunch difficult to access with so many people in the room.

Not clean We found couple of hairs on the bed Shower room smelled nasty Water pressure and temperature was not good Only positive was the good breakfast Not worth …

We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the breakfast however, we are very sorry to read about your concerns regarding cleanliness and the shower facilities. This is certainly not the standard we aim to provide. During your three-night stay, no concerns were raised with our front desk team regarding cleanliness or noise. Had we been informed, we would have addressed the matter immediately, whether by re-cleaning the room, checking the shower or offering an alternative solution to ensure your comfort. You were allocated a quiet room facing the rear of the hotel. Additionally, there is a secondary door that can be closed to further isolate the room from the second floor and surrounding rooms which usually helps minimise noise. We are proud that the majority of our guests regularly praise our housekeeping team for their high standards. However, we understand that expectations can vary and we regret that on this occasion we did not meet yours. Check-in was very smooth and the staff were extremely helpful. I was even offered a room upgrade, although unfortunately there was no availability. The team throughout the stay was attentive, friendly, and always willing to assist with anything I needed. The standard rooms are quite small. The doors close loudly and the floors can be a bit creaky. Overall, I wasn’t fully satisfied with the room in terms of space and comfort especially for a business trip though considering the price performance balance, it was acceptable. The breakfast area is lovely, and the hotel partners with an Italian restaurant for the morning service, which is a nice touch. However, during my four-night stay (three breakfasts), I noticed that the restaurant manager seemed quite harsh in her interactions with the staff, which was uncomfortable to observe. In general, I was satisfied with my stay, mainly thanks to the kind and attentive hotel team. However, the standard rooms may not be ideal for business travel.

Booked one hotel transferred to another. As you had over booked!!! Not great explanation on how this can happen. They received the worst room at 11:30pm at night if it was earlier I would have just left.,I paid £180 so it wasn’t on the cheap end..Terrible experience..
