I was extremely unsatisfied with the lack of attention to security of my room, I left the hotel at around 0815 to go to work, and on my return around 5:15pm I found that my door was open, and I just had to push the door open to enter, and to get the door closed properly I had to use my key card to unlock the door, on inspection of the room, I firstly checked that my belongings were all there, and then noticed my room had been serviced by the cleaners, this would mean that they had not ensured that my room was secure & safe on completion of their duties. I did report this to the front desk that evening, but feel it os something I need to ensure gets highlighted again as I do carry electronic equipment that I occasionally leave in my room, which I now cant as I cannot be sure that it is safe as room security was not taken seriously.

This was our second stay. Overall, it was fine, but our room was not serviced on the second day, leaving us without tea/coffee etc, and no loo roll! Went to reception on our return. Two female members of staff apologetic and said they'd sort it ASAP. Male member of staff wasn't apologetic at all, and was just coming up with stupid reasons as to why the room hadn't been serviced - primarily that they'd had a lot of rooms to service that day. I'm sorry, but you're a hotel - and a hotel that was by no means full, so that is a ridiculous argument - and certainly not one to run in front of a paying guest. Finally, on the last day, I found that the room card had been disabled prior to us checking-out. Fortunately, my wife was in the room to let me back in.

Fantastic location great Breakfast which serves up nicely for our return journey too Glasgow. Staff were fantastic and very helpful in getting us a taxi too our reunion dinner
