The staff were welcoming but not overbearing, check-in took time even though I'd done so online. Room was ok but if it'd been a warmer day I think it'd have been too warm as air-con only went down to 19'c the room was without a fan or opening windows. The bathroom was ok but shower screen did not cover the whole area thus with a shallow tray means only a quick shower could be taken without risk of soaking the whole room. I enjoyed breakfast but hot items could be more substantial such as black pudding or a regional speciality reflecting the location.

Overall good stay However on arrival I was surprised to see two food deliveries being dropped off Although this was explained when we visited the restaurant/ bar London prices!!

Good location, nearby parking (although a little expensive - not the hotels fault) comfortable room. Main sleep disruptor was the fire/smoke alarm constantly flashing above the bed!
