Friendly efficient staff. Cosy “pod” room. Air conditioning was good. Only downside was not having tea/coffee in room but available downstairs.

Hi, I have stayed at IBIS Derby for one night on 25th April 2026. Accommodation is fine, but I had received a penalty letter for parking my Car from ParkingEye, even though I had vacated the area before the checkout time. I had called the hotel and they sent the cancellation notice to ParkingEye on my behalf. After 2 days, I received another letter from ParkingEye that they cannot cancel and I need to pay £20. Though I am a valid customer and stayed at the IBIS by paying full amount in advance, did not like the way the customers are being charged by the parking company. It is waste of my essential time and unnecessary follow-up emails. Extremely disappointed, and I would urge everyone to check prior booking at IBIS hotels in future.
