We were part of a group, 4 rooms, we requested that our room were located near each other The request fell on deaf ears! We were spread over 3 floors! (Not great, as we were there for the murder mystery.) The murder mystery was set up in the dining room. The stains on a couple of the chairs were awful..... The Murder mystery was clearly done, lots of fun. However the meal, I chose chicken, wasn't great.large chicken breast, but it was dry..... I didn't eat it! The bar person, didn't smile and it took an age to get served, the staff were not rude and were helpful, there was just no urgency to get people served. The bed was lovely, clean and comfortable, the bathroom was clean, but decor and shower screen were 'tired!'

I booked this last minute and literally arrived 2 hours after booking. What a relief to find a clean, beautiful hotel with spacious rooms - I was even offered a free drink on arrival. The reception area is perfect for winding down, and has a bar. Staff were extremely friendly. Thank you for a wonderful last-minute stay. My daughter was competing at the ICE cheerleading in the athletics stadium nearby. The hotel is ideal if you’re headed to nearby venues or want a quick route into rte city.

I stayed after having a small conference at the hotel. Conference facilities were adequate. Lunch options not great on both days . My room had a broken heating system with one oil filled radiator being left in the room made me think they knew the heating was broken before putting me in the room. This wouldn’t have been too problematic if the windows would have locked unfortunately thy didn’t they were broken so there was cold air coming into the room that the small oil filled radiator couldn’t compete against. The ceiling of the bathroom was terribly discoloured. There was barely any lighting in the room. And an interconnected door to the room next door that appeared to be locked but I had no way of checking it stayed locked from my side which as a lone female traveler was disconcerting. Breakfast was ok. Standard breakfast. Will not be arranging any more work conferences or stays at this hotel.

Stayed 1 night for a murder mystery event. Large room and comfortable bed. No comfy chair, only 1 dining chair. Had to ask for extra pillows as only 1 per person provided. The heating was very difficult to manage with no instructions. TV did not work properly, kept saying no signal on most channels. However the staff were pleasant and polite and helpful.
