I booked the hotel for my wife and I as she is a big TakeThat fan, who were playing in Cardif. Because of this, the price of a room more than doubled. Something hotels are known to do when major events are nearby. Anyway, the room was immaculate, with a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates included. The staff were helpful and friendly. Would stay there again.

Brilliant the manager got our rooms ready earlier as we had travelled from Ireland for a wedding great rooms and excellent breakfast would definitely recommend

Hotel starting to look tired. I asked for a room close to the lift. Didn't get that. Could do with spare pillows in the room. Staff were lovely, helpful and visible. I didn't moan at the time as I just couldn't be bothered, hopefully next time I won't have the walk!!!!!

Rooms show incremental improvements. This time the desk chair was far better than before, so the two of us can sit in reasonable comfort. During our previous stay we had a problem with your parking enforcement company, which I challenged because we prepaid. They removed the main penalty but wanted to charge me for overstaying (we arrived after check in and left before check out). Eventually a manager at the hotel intervened and I think has resolved the problem. He kindly offered free parking for this trip by way of compensation for the hassle of dealing with the enforcement company, which we appreciate.

I wouldn't choose the hotel personally. I was here because business has booked it for me. The hotel room itself feels underwhelming, although the bed was very comfortable and the shower was fantastic, there was just a tired feeling to it. The location wasn't great. Though you can get things delivered, it was at least a decent walk away from a shop so I would arrived with any water or anything you would need across the evening. Staff were pleasant. The breakfast was very good! The buffet was hot and replenished often and the continental offer was great as were drinks etc.
