Booked a standard room, and as a Platinum member was upgraded to what they class as a privilege room, but it was a standard queen-size room, it had no real privileges at all, mini bar was not on or stocked. it was questioned to staff and we were informed that Mercure Norwich is a franchise only and not owned by Accor etc, so it is there discretion on what they provide for their customers. It was not a nice experience this time but the room was acceptable for the 10hours that we only had there. Better placement and understanding Customers award profile to given better options or services.

Reception and bar staff , great service. The dinner I ordered was poor. Thin soup and a cheap lasagne . It was not the standard I have had before. Noise of housekeeping in the morning broke my sleep , two times.
