As returning guests, we were pleased to find that the breakfast was as good as ever. Everything in our room was fine, except for the air conditioning, which started off well, but then reverted to sending out very warm air. We reported the fault and it was quickly dealt with. The hotel provides ample free parking and is clean and tidy and well maintained, if rather old fashioned. We booked 2 nights including breakfast for £168.00 on a special offer, available on the Accor app. However, we were devastated to find that the excellent Abby has left! She was a real asset to the hotel and it was always a joy to be greeted by her beaming face at the reception desk, and to be on the receiving end of her amazing customer service. For this last stay, with Abby gone, the receptionist who checked us in, whilst very pleasant and polite, evidently has a lot of training still to complete. Abby will be sorely missed, and is a hard act to follow.

Disappointed about mould on window frames. General area carpets upstairs and on stairs need a good clean Excellent breakfast and staff
