This hotel is stuck in the 80s, awful decor, tired and dated. We had a double bedroom and only bedside cabinet. Old threadbare dirty carpets, the whole place needs to be refurbished. The bathroom had a shower from another era, the tiles had mould and the shower curtain was pretty grubby. Not sure how they can give this place a 4 star status, it's more like a 2 star. Breakfast was good, nice selection of items on offer and they serve you the hot elements. Staff were very helpful and friendly considering the state of the hotel they're working in.

On arrival asked yo pay charged us twice for evening meals three night stay in the end agreed it was an arrow and give the money back. Room needs a remake. Only good point about the room was the air con. Evening meals good but breakfast hot food not warm enough not worth £5 let alone £15.95

It is an old hotel that has had some renovation work done but needs a lot more. I think they are working on it but in the meantime they should lower the price. The rooms we stayed in have nothing to do with the ones shown in the photos on the website. The wallpaper in the rooms is in a bad state. There are old aluminium windows without double glazing and the bathrooms are quite basic but partially renovated. The bed and the heating was good. I do not know why but the rooms were not cleaned every day. We had to ask for clean towels, soap etc. Another issue were the room keys. We stayed for several days and practically every day it was necessary to reprogramme the keys. The breakfast was good and there was sufficient free parking space. From our experience, this hotel does not reach the standards expected of 4 star hotels belonging to the Accor chain.

From the moment we arrived and discovered I had booked for the wrong 2 days, the staff were helpful, friendly and engaging. Nothing was too much for them to do to help us and the room they found for us was excellent. Everyone from the front desk reception to the cleaners, kitchen staff and bar services were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
