Fawlty Towers Evening

We came as a party of 6 for the Fawlty Towers Comedy evening, On reaching the bar we asked for a drinks list and wine list, they said they did not have one. We ordered a guinness and s bottle of red and was given a glass and a can not even poured in at almost £6 a can, and a cold bottle of red. The starter was lovely, main would of been better home made for a turkey dinner rather then a processed dinner, dessert was lovely, The comedy act was a good laugh, but was let down but a table of drunk teenagers shouting over everything and resulted in the comedy trio asking them to be quiet. Christmas decorations had seen better days and on the ceiling only 1quarter of each Christmas light was working. Hotel dated could do with a spruce up, Waiting staff lovely and polite

Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel shabby in places and in need of some re-vamping but otherwise clean and comfortable. Quality towels and bed linen provided and the bed was very comfortable. Although situated off a main road the venue was relatively quiet which was a bonus.

Fabulous new year 2024

We have been away over night to for new year every year but the Mercure hotel Norwich was great. There isn’t one thing we could fault at all. Staff so friendly, food was brilliant including breakfast, rooms were more than adequate for us. 100% go again 👍 One of our friends had forgotten his cuff links ! The manager even went out of his way to supply him with a pair what more can you say
