Lucknam Park was more than just a beautiful setting for our team—it was an experience defined by genuine hospitality and unforgettable moments. From the soothing spa sessions that left us all feeling rejuvenated, to the exquisite private dining with Alex where every detail was thoughtfully curated, each moment felt special. The rooms were a haven of comfort and elegance, and our laughter echoed across the grounds during the clay pigeon shooting. Above all, what truly set this retreat apart was the unwavering quality of the hospitality; every interaction, every gesture, made us feel valued and cared for. For me, that’s the essence of real luxury—exceptional quality delivered with heart.

Dear Melanie Q., Thank you for your wonderful feedback regarding your recent experience at Lucknam Park. We are delighted to hear that our setting, services, and hospitality contributed to a memorable retreat for your team. It is our goal to provide a serene environment where guests can connect and enjoy every moment, and your kind words affirm our commitment to exceptional quality. Kind regards Sakis

Lucknam Park could not have been on my visiting list had it not been drawn to my attention by Accor Hotels as a flagship Emblems Collection Hotel. Set in its own grounds, the hotel is in a spectacular location and you really do feel that you are about to stay in a stately home on arrival. The welcome from staff, especially Nedd and Bart was extremely warm and the same applied to Michael who gave me assistance with my wife who is in a wheelchair, and our luggage. The luggage just disappeared but was already in our room when we were escorted there to enjoy a complimentary bottle of champagne. The room was perfect, very tasteful in its decor and with a wide view over the surrounding countryside. Bathroom facilities had been well thought out to suit someone with mobility issues. We had very easy access to the Walled Garden Restaurant which was most suited to our needs although pushing a wheelchair on gravel is hard work. Though the main house is Country House style, the Walled Garden Restaurant is more Modern Stylish with fantastic woodwork on show in the decor. Tables are well spaced and the welcome from staff, Poppy in particular, was special and she took great care of us. The menu is not huge but well thought out with quality being so important not just in ingredients but also in the way they have been prepared. Tom and Ethan looked after us on our first night and they are both real gentlemen, expert at their chosen metier. My wife does suggest that insulating table mats are used as the table tops are cold and quickly chill warm plates. On the way to breakfast in the Walled Garden Restaurant, the courtyard which houses much of the hotels accommodation is stunning with very well kept gardens tastefully stocked. Welcome at breakfast came from Charlotte who knew us by name as we arrived. The menu is so wide ranging that you could probably ask for anything and it would be available. The quality of every item, locally sourced, was superb, from the bacon, to the sausages and fried eggs. The black pudding was so good it must have been couriered in from Bury Market. I really enjoyed the homemade granola and the Turkish breakfast chef has been kind enough to let me have the recipe for this. I am sorry I cannot remember his name. This really was a very special stay for my wife and I and my only misgivings are about the cost of the room which was quite high. You cannot however always put a price on exclusivity and the excellent service level provided by the entire team. I must mention Daniel, who found my car in the car park and assisted with our departure. I would love to come here again, but, perhaps when the weather is a little warmer.

Dear James R. L., Thank you for your kind words regarding your recent stay at Lucknam Park. We are delighted to hear that you found our location and accommodations to be exceptional and that our staff provided you with a warm welcome. Your feedback about the dining experience and the attention to detail in our services is greatly appreciated. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future, ideally when the weather is more favorable. Kind regards Sakis

Had a Great stay recently with my new wife. Impressive Site / Buildings with well kept grounds and very attentive hotel staff all round. Comfy and clean rooms with classic style but modern facilities in the bathroom. The Spa was the star of the show for us with great facilities and sensible amount of guests let in so it wasn't overcrowded and remained very relaxing - one suggestion would be to make it easier to order drinks etc. from within the spa without having to keep leaving and re-entering in your robes to head through into the restaurant / bar. The disappointing part was the Walled Garden Restaurant, which seems to be the default restaurant and where you also have breakfast. We had an evening meal included in the spa break package - the meal itself was fine but nothing special but I would have been disappointed if I had to actually pay the prices in the menu for it - for example my steak was cooked well but seemed to be a particularly fatty / chewy cut of meat. We couldn't fault the service staff in the evening. Breakfast was a different story however. The staff were friendly people but the co-ordination between them was poor, items that were asked for were either forgotten or two different people would bring the same thing shortly after each other. Culmination of this disappointment was when my toast was forgotten and I had to ask for it, then only to be served mouldy white bread - this mould was highlighted to the waitress but no apology came from the management etc. and I wasn't even offered a replacement set of toast.

Dear Ben N., Thank you for your thoughtful feedback regarding your recent stay. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed our Spa and found our staff to be attentive. Your suggestions on improving the drink ordering process within the Spa are appreciated. We regret to learn about your experience at the Walled Garden Restaurant and will review your comments regarding breakfast service and the oversight with your toast. Kind regards, Sakis
