The walk in shower didnt drain properly and water spread over the bathroom floor. The bedroom carpet was damp outside the bathroom door and the room smelled very damp and musty. However the breakfast was nice and the location was excellent.

The room was not comfortable and the lighting from outside meant that the room was constantly light. I asked to change rooms but was told that the hotel was full. I asked a member of staff if this was correct and informed no the hotel was not fully booked.

Our experience started poorly with cleanliness issues. The first room we were shown had detritus, including a toenail clipping, left in the bathroom. The second room was similar—minus the toenail—but had notable dust and a possible drink spill left to dry on the bedroom chair. We finally accepted a third room because it was at least clean, though it was quite dated with a plastic pod-style bathroom reminiscent of a cruise ship.​The staff were friendly when we complained and kindly offered us free drinks, which we appreciated. However, breakfast was another letdown. The 'Full English' was far from full, missing hash browns, fried eggs, and mushrooms. To top it off, when we arrived for breakfast on our second morning, staff made us wait while they finished texting on their phones before acknowledging us, then when my partner used the toilets as we left after checking out, the toilets were not clean.

Most of the staff i came in to contact with were very good but I had an issue with a young man who was serving at the bar. I asked for a white wine to which he replied that they had ran out. He didn't wait for me to order an alternative and just walked into the room behind reception and sat down leaving me standing.

the wet room was not of standard there's bars on the wall but no bars on the other side of toilet and shower chair. safety issue. there's no space on the left hand side of toilet to lean and wipe yourself. no space on the right hand side of the twin beds, very narrow narrow space when you enter room and leave the room and get around between the end of the bed and the wall, with wheelchair barely making it through. been here before, nothing has been changed or improved in the 10 years since my last visit. very disappointed

Nice stay wasn’t worth the 230 I paid plus I had to pay 26 extra to park at a car park elsewhere due to there being no space in the car park.
