It was amazing - especially thrilled with the extra touches to surprise my mother-in-law on her 90th! It really made her day. Visiting Liverpool and Albert Docks was a big reminiscence trip for her and the location, clean rooms and good breakfast were all made that much better with the special treatment. Thank you!

My experience was enjoyable thank you apart from the issue around not hot water on one of the mornings of my stay.

Asked for a quiet room, was put by fire exit which was used every night Hotel room was cold no heating, but got sorted next day Shower needed bleaching Had to ask for towels as only been left one every day and need 2 Third day no hand wash as empty si had to ask house keeper for some, got handed it and had to put on ourselves Kettle in room faulty

Easy check-in on line and friendly staff on premises. Ideal position for shopping at Liverpool One, walking rounds the docks and M&S Arena. Breakfast was Goodson was evening food. No frills but comfortable room. Car parking on premises for £10 per night.

For the cost, I expected more. The dining area is too small for the number of rooms. Rooms are basic, and you charge for parking!

Our prices can be high on event dates as these reflect the demand. We are always competitively priced with other local hotels. I am sorry about the size of our breakfast area, it can get really busy on specific time, and usually spaces get available within 5-10 minutes. We are aware of the shortage of space in our restaurant area. We are currently putting together a business plan in order for us to request an extension. Should we be giving the go ahead then we will be able to accommodate our guests more comfortably. Parking is £10 per day for guests, which is advertised on all websites we are listed on. I have stayed here several times in the last few years. I like the location and the fact that it has a car park. This year it was £100 more than last year. The parking went up a lot and I think £10 is a bit steep. The bed wasn’t that comfortable and the temperature of the room was hard to get warm until I discovered I had to reduce the temperature control to increase the the heat. I spent a day being cold until I discovered it worked backwards. The staff were friendly and helpful at reception and in the bar.

Staff brill Room freezing No hot water one day so no shower Queue for 30 mins for a breakfast table one day gave up

The hotel was so conveniently situated, a very short walk from Liverpool One bus station, again a short walk from Liverpool One shopping complex and once again a very short walk to the local museums, the city hop on hop off buses and the Beatles tour. For two days what more could you want, oh better weather but not even Ibis could control that.

The hotel is in an excellent position to discover all of the local attractions. We used the hop on hop of buses each day and were able to see so much. The hotel provided us with a brief opportunity to visit the cities attractions. We were very pleased with the accommodation, the staff were excellent and the breakfasts very good. The room was very tight - in future we may request a slightly larger room, and my wife found the bed rather hard.
