Stayed for two nights due to hospital day operation. Staff are/were wonderful, very helpful, friendly, can’t praise them enough, they are so good. Bedroom And bathroom super clean, very comfy bed. Excellent shower unit. Snacks we had were ok and good value. We will definitely stay at the Ibis again when next in Liverpool hopefully by that time Covid restrictions will be lifted. The other super thing about this hotel is they are pet friendly which for us earns loads of brownie points. Thank you Ibis for making our stay so good.

Can never fault these guys - had to order pizza from over the road, who failed to get us knives and forks, so we borrowed a set from the hotel and handed them back. Will be staying again for 4 might for business again

Nice hotel. Clean and tidy but the beds are dreadful.

I have been using the IBIS at Albert Dock for a month whilst I carry out some work in liverpool I have to say once again how impressed I am with everything they are achieving despite the almost impossible circumstances that they face due to a pandemic. As you arrive you will notice a clean we'll set out reception area there are hand sanatisers everywhere all staff are wearing masks and are socially distanced from each other and the public. As you check in you might be required to show some proof of your key worker status PLEASE don't give the staff a hard time about this it is what it is and not Thier fault. There's only one person in the lift a time more hand gel both outside and inside the lift. All room seem to be the same but they are very clean and well presented. Again because of the pandemic there isn't a daily room service which shouldn't be a problem for anyone who's living like a responsible and grown adult don't be a scruffy person and you'll be fine. Theres a little "pod" type bathroom in every room where there is a sink , lavatory, and a really good shower soap dispensers are provided. There's also a hair dryer in the room and a small TV I have also noticed a small ironing board but no iron however i believe you can acquire one from reception for a small deposit however I could be wrong. There is a limited service available for food operating you can order from reception and they will call you when it's ready soft drinks are also available but no alcohol. All in all if your looking for a budget hotel then I'd definitely recommend this place. The staff are brilliant I haven't met one member of staff that hasn't impressed me with Thier pleasant and professional manner especially when you consider how much they have to adapt to now there's a pandemic. Prices are reasonable and your right outside the city centre literetly 2 mins walk away.

The heater was broken so the room was very cold, staff was slow and did not fix the issue simply gave us a plug in heater which was poor. Customer service was shocking, shower was also going from cold to hot while on. Knocking on the door at early hours of the morning from cleaning department way before check out time. Great budget hotel, parking £10 per night, location perfect for Albert Dock and Liverpool 1, both only 5 mins walk. Covid19 awareness good. Love the shower cubicles.

Overall disappointing. Hotel was not actually on the Albert Dock as expected. Rooms walls were extremely thin, we could hear people in other rooms snoring and talking which is not appropriate. Any little movement, toss or turn in sleep would wake you up because the beds were extremely squeaky. Booked a double room, was not a double bed. Was two single beds pushed together which is not ideal. No hand gel in the bottle when entering the hotel which means this is not a covid secure environment, as a nurse myself this was highly disappointing and this allows the virus to spread. No staff on the front desk when leaving hotel to speak with, instead put room keys in designated box. I will not be coming to this hotel again, I would much rather stay in a travel lodge.

As per explained on our website, our hotel is located opposite the Royal Albert Dock and M&S Bank Arena, we are not on the Dock itself. We are sorry about the noise coming from different rooms; our reception is manned 24 hours a day and can be contacted at any point during your stay, should you encounter any issues. Our team will be happy to assist you as much as they can to solve the inconvenience caused. We could have moved you to a quieter room, had we have been notified. We apologise that the hand sanitiser gel dispenser at the entrance of the hotel was empty when you arrived. We check and fill them up regularly. We also have hand sanitiser gel dispensers available located at the reception, by the lifts and inside the lifts. Our reception team is here 24 hours, however due to the low occupancy of the hotel, our team is on reduced capacity and we have one member of staff in the morning on reception who also help our breakfast team when they need. We are sorry if there was no team member at the desk when you came down to check-out, they would have been available a few minutes later to process to your check-out. There is a box at reception for the check-out to avoid any unnecessary contact, not only for your protection but for our team as well however our team is always available if you need any assistance.
