First time stay In an ibis and I wasn’t impressed. From shoddy damaged furniture/ furnishings to undesirable hairs in the shower tray marks and smudging on the mirror. The kettle in the room although great the only place to plug it in was on the bed side table not ideal in a family room where people stay with children. Building works, cranes as our only view which wasn’t the nicest either. EXTRA CHARGES when I checked in I was charged and extra £2:50 for what?! And £10 for parking which wasn’t mentioned when booking shocking . Won’t be booking again

Regarding the extra charges, I apologise for any confusion that may have occurred at check-in. Our parking fees are typically communicated during the booking process and I regret that this was not clear in your case. The £2.40 charge is for the visitor charge that all guests have to pay per room per night. This is a charge that Liverpool City Council implemented in June 2024. I can see this amount quoted on your booking confirmation. Please know that we appreciate your feedback, as it helps us identify areas for enhancement. Thank you once again for your insights.
