The Ibis Stratford is well located and quiet. Unfortunately, we found the bed to be too firm and we were missing a hand towel which went down and asked for. At Breakfast, the Bacon was very overcooked, which was disappointing.

Let down by how staff handled a disruptive guest Around midnight, loud music started in the room next to mine. I reported it to reception straight away, but it took far too long to resolve. When I called again to ask for a quicker solution, I was met with excuses and asked to be patient. The noise carried on until after 1:30am. Taking well over an hour to deal with one noisy guest, deep into quiet hours, is unacceptable and suggests that whatever measures were taken didn't work. At around 6:30am I was woken again by the same guest playing music. It was quieter this time but still impossible to sleep through, and with a long working day ahead I didn't get the rest I needed. Given what had already happened during the night, I would have expected the guest to be asked to leave. When I asked to move rooms, I was told the hotel was fully booked. That may well have been the case, but nothing else was offered instead. I understand you can't foresee a disruptive guest, but you should be better prepared to deal with one and to limit the impact on everyone else staying with you.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable and I slept well, the wet floor shower room could've benefited from a non stick mat, I did notice (after the event) that I could've got one from reception however I did ask reception for hand towels and they did not appear so I had to use the bath towel to mop up the floor so my sister in law was not put at any risk if falling, this left us with only her towel, I did try calling reception but got no answer. Other than that it was an ok hotel and very reasonably priced.

The room was ok but for the price charged which was extortionate for one night, the facilities were poor. No breakfast included which on paying was very poor quality, hot food was dried out, poor choice of cereals, all out of a cheap box but put in a jar. No meusli for example. Cheap yogurts, very poor cheap bread , the best part about the breakfast was the hard boiled eggs. The lift was broken so I had to lug my luggage from the 3rd floor all the way down the steps. The room was clean, no iron or board available. No bathmat, no biscuits, very very cheap in appearance

Every staff member that I have had cointact with from Reception, Resturant, to room cleaning person have all been very polite and very helpful. My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night in September 2026. My boyfriend is an ambulatory wheelchair user, so we booked an accessible room. The room we were given, while it was intended to be an accessible room, unfortunately had the beds situated far too close to the door, meaning that we struggled to get my boyfriend's wheelchair into the room and then out again on the morning we checked out. In fact as we were leaving, the wheelchair became stuck between the door and the bed, and so my boyfriend had to get out of the chair, and myself and one of the cleaning staff had to lift the chair over the beds in order to get it out of the room. This issue could've easily been avoided if the beds were placed further away from the door. This room was an assigned accessible room as it had low beds and a wet-room shower, but this counts for nothing if a wheelchair user is physically unable to get into the room and then out again. When I mentioned these issues to the man on reception, he was somewhat dismissive of it, saying there wasn't anything that could be done about it but he would pass on our concerns to the management team. I feel like this is a poor attitude to have towards a disabled customer, especially when all we did was point out issues with accessibility in a supposedly accessible room.

Hotel room was comfortable & clean. The only thing that was a bit negative was our room overlooked Morrison delivery yard & there was quite a bit of noise from delivery lorries in the very early ours of the morning. I would definitely ask for a room the other side of the hotel if possible. Breakfast was ok.

I stayed at Ibis Stratford for work for 6 days. The room was clean, with bed linen changed regularly. Good use of wifi. The size of the double room was OK while I was alone, but too small when my partner stayed for the first couple of nights. The breakfast was basic. The staff was really polite and helpful.

Noise & Location: The back of the hotel overlooks an active municipal street-cleansing and collection vehicle depot. Reversing alarms, truck engines, and bin activity ran throughout the night, making sleep difficult for rear-facing rooms. • Unpleasant Odour: Experienced a persistent, strong smell in the room - likely originating from the operational fleet yard or local drainage/plumbing issues. • Dated Rooms: The room was very basic, bare, and in clear need of a full refurbishment. • Cleanliness: Carpets were worn extremely thin and felt like they needed a deep steam clean. Overall: Between the overnight vehicle disturbance, off-putting smell, and tired decor, the room was poor value for the price paid. If you do book here, ensure you request a front-facing room on a high floor well away from the rear yard.
