Staff were pleasant enough, room was freezing cold and had to be moved, Rooms VERY small and cramped, NO privacy for shower, NO fan in toilet, NO hair dryer, NO tea and coffee, NO kettle. Nowhere even half decent to get food. VERY POOR

I have been staying at this hotel regularly for around two years and have always had very positive experiences, particularly with previous front desk staff, who were polite, professional, and welcoming. Unfortunately, during my most recent check-in, my experience was very different. The front desk staff member was abrupt, used an overly familiar and unprofessional tone, did not offer basic courtesy (such as wishing me a good stay), and made me feel uncomfortable throughout the interaction. While registering my car, I was asked unnecessary personal questions, including whether I knew how to drive. This was inappropriate, unrelated to the service, and felt condescending. Also was previous incident involving the same staff member, who repeatedly called weeks after a stay insisting that I had left a bag at the hotel. My husband answered the calls and clearly confirmed that the bag was not mine. Despite this, the staff member continued to insist that the bag had my name on it. This crossed professional boundaries and caused significant discomfort. Based on these repeated experiences, I believe this staff member requires proper customer service and professional conduct training, particularly for a front desk role. I am sharing this because I value this hotel and have always appreciated the standard of service in the past. I hope this feedback helps ensure that future interactions reflect the professional and respectful standards I have previously experienced.
