Very friendly staff, efficient check in and welcome. The hotel room was so depressing. More like a hospital room. We knew it was budget - even though the price was £85. But in comparison to Premier Inns and Travelodges in service stations this was a very sterile room. All looked as though it could be wiped clean. Which it was but zero comfort and relaxation. The only positives were the staff.

We've stayed here before and had no issues, this time round the mattress was rock hard, stopping me from getting a decent amount of sleep due to waking up every 30 mins - an hour. The shower was terrible, no matter the setting you got freezing cold then scolding hot, back to freezing cold etc etc will spend a bit more and stay in a travelodge or premier inn next time

You get what you pay for and it is advertised as basic, but was comfortable and staff were fantastic so definitely worth the money. Our room had a shower with a glass door in the bedroom, and I would have preferred a more private door but other than that it was good. Was also good having shops next door.

I had to book a room at very short notice when other plans fell through and I ended up at Beaconsfield services with a huge amount of luggage and a long wait to be picked up. The gentleman on reception was extremely helpful and went over and above in managing to safely store all my kit. The room was a godsend - I didn't stay the night but was able to shower and change and have a quiet place to wait for my ongoing transport. Very reasonably priced and spotlessly clean.

Comfortable, simple, reasonably priced and to the point. Conveniently located. I would have like a better pillow though and wish the parking stays free as it will change to £6 a day.

The room was clean, quiet, a good temperature, with a good shower and comfortable beds. All staff were encountered were friendly and helpful. Our only minor issue was the limited space in the room.

Very basic hotel Very small shower. No kettle in room
