Receptionist was very friendly and helpful, parking was easily dealt with and not the rip off that it would have been without the guest discount. Rooms aren't large but they don't really need to before short stops, basic cube seat wasn't great for my back but it did the job. Shower and wash area was clean. Lack of tea facilities in the room was something that I wasn't aware of until arrival but there was a cupboard with an urn in near reception to make hot drinks (great idea but as an introvert, I just want to stay in my room). Would use again as for just a night's stopover, it is absolutely fine.

We booked a day-use room from 9 am to 5 pm, arriving at around 2:45 pm while travelling with my wife and our two-year-old son, who needed some rest before continuing our journey home. Unfortunately, at the check-in, the receptionist told us our booking had been cancelled simply because the checkout time was 5 pm, despite us still having over two hours remaining. After 10–15 minutes of unnecessary discussion, he eventually allowed us to use the room, but his attitude made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. We only wanted a short rest for our young child. The lack of understanding and hospitality was very disappointing and certainly not the experience we expected. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and improves its customer service.

The air was stagnant and uncomfortable, making it difficult to relax or get a comfortable night's sleep. The lack of adequate cooling significantly affected the comfort of the room and made the stay unpleasant. The pillows were pointless as they were so soft and thin. Room was clean and tidy.

On the second of 4 nights I made a complaint which was initially acknowledged but upon asking again I was told I’d be contacted. Nothing, zilch, zero etc. 🤬

We would like to reassure you that when you requested a quiet room, our team allocated you a room in a quieter area of the hotel. Unfortunately, the noise you experienced was coming from the public area and car park outside the hotel, which is outside the hotel’s control. When you contacted our Front Desk, our team also offered to move you to another room, but we understand that you decided not to move at the time. My main learning is to read all about hotels before booking! my own fault for not doing so but I did find it difficult to have to go downstairs in the lift, get a coffee in a paper cup, then try not to burn myself whilst getting back to my room. Staff were lovely and very helpful when booking in, room was clean and tidy although very basic.

This was my second stay this year (previously stayed with my young son in July) and stayed with my young daughter this time as part of a visit to LegoLand. Room was once again very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Having the services attached means plenty of options for food and it was handy having the nature walks and play area nearby for my daughter. Staff were friendly again and we were more than happy with our stay. Only thing to be aware of is that parking is no longer free but this is obviously not the hotel's fault and it is a minimal charge so wasn't an issue.

Absolutely love the location for our stays when flying from Heathrow, totally recommend for cleanliness, friendly staff, comfy beds everything you need for a quick budget stay, just a friendly mention that parking was always free, we paid for our stay way before this came into force and thought they should have honoured it but even still would so recommend.

Small room with limited power outlets. No hair dryer (had to ask at reception) and no power outlet near a mirror. Bunk over the bed is good to hit your head on. Noise from other rooms.
