Stayed to attend a concert in ormeau park, the hotel is within walking distance of the park & there are plenty of bars & restaurants beside hotel, lots of parking on the street in front & was free on Saturday. We went back to hotel & we’re served in the bar until 3am. Staff were very friendly & helpful.

Staff excellent,lovely friendly people from arrival to departure (4nights). All needs catered for .Breakfast spot on..Evening meals exactly what ordered and thoroughly enjoyable ..Can't speak highly enough of hotel , everything comfortable nothing to much for a very friendly staff ,made it a very pleasant stay ,24hr Reception made it more safe as knowledge that could contact staff anytime during night..That's my experience definitely would (will) go back ..And and the location was made for me ,plus all connection to public transport ,trains buses ect just around the corner ..City centre 15 mins walk .. Delightful Stay..how can I stay in a hotel without a complaint,I did..thankyou to all involved with making my stay a 10 out of 10. JD.

On my trip to Belfast I was travelling completely alone. I checked into the hotel at around 9.30 and instantly unpacked and started getting ready to go for a shower at wind down for bed. At 11pm (once I was already in bed) someone came and started banging on my door. As I was travelling alone and had valuables in my room for which no safe was provided I made the decision not to go to the door. After a minute or so the knocking ceased so I cautiously approached the peep hole in the door to see no one was there. At this point I assumed it was just a harmless case of another guest looking for their friend but having the wrong room. I turned the television back on, still somewhat shaken as I was entirely alone. Around 5 minutes later the knocking started again. I was just pulling my t shirt back on when my room door opened and a hotel staff member walked into the room. The young man was not even wearing a mask and at the time of writing this review this is still legally mandatory indoors in Northern Ireland. Bear in mind this is all happening in the middle of the night in a strange city I have never visited before. The young man then accused me of having not yet paid for my stay and further complained that he thought I was “ignoring him”. He was standing several feet inside my room (without a mask on)which I did not invite or consent to him doing and was therefore violating my privacy. He refused to leave until I opened up my booking confirmation email to prove to him that payment had been made and he was mistaken. Total misconduct. Even if the staff mistakenly do not charge a guest on arrival, this does not permit the staff to grant themselves entry to the guests room in the middle of the night. It’s neither the time nor the place. After this violation to my personal privacy I was absolutely shaken and had probably the lowest quality sleep I’ve had in any hotel in all the years I have been travelling.

I came to Belfast for 3 days to help my son prepare for new year at uni. The hotel was just what I wanted, good location, comfortable room with excellent bathroom (1st class shower!). The staff were very hellpful, polite and always cheerful and any questions quickly answered. The bar was a nice place to relax, not noisy and welcoming.

We had a three night stay which was made enjoyable by the staff at the hotel, all amenities were close by and it was a short walk to the city centre, the shift manager on each of the nights was Adam, he made us feel very welcome and couldn't do enough for us.

the staff were unbelievable they helped us way beyond most establishments .I thought they were great my only gripe was paper cups for the tea maker . we are of pension age and my wife had a shoulder injury having to use her left arm . I should have asked the staff but I had already asked them to freeze the ice bags a few times .

Never been to Belfast and I wanted to stay central but I didn’t want it to cost me the price of an organ. I can across the Ibis and base on the price and the pictures on the website it booked immediately. The receptionists were welcoming, friendly, and answered all my questions. The room was very clean; the temperature was easy to control and the carpet in the hallway was clean as well which isn’t the case for most small hotels. I’d definitely stay here again.

Good location, clean room. No shower gel in bathroom, it was missing. Used glasses not removed by house keeping. Breakfast a disaster both days. Virtually no food on 1st morning. No yogurts either day, no eggs on 2nd day for the 40 mins we were there. The Ibis in the city center is spot on.
