My husband and I visited Belfast with my mother to celebrate her 87th birthday and we chose the hotel based on location, price and the consistency of service when using an Ibis. The location was excellent and we were able to walk everywhere to go to restaurants and see local sites and access the hop on hop off bus. It was also less than a 10 minute walk from the central bus/train station so allowed us to get the airport bus from Belfast International and then walk to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, with restaurant recommendations. They kindly put some chocolates and a few little freebies in my mum's room for her birthday too!

Summary * great hotel for a weekend away * fantastic location close to the shopping centres, pubs, and central station * rooms are compact, however clean and have essentials included (hair dryer, kettle) * hotel did not comply when i asked for a special request Check in * staff were friendly and efficient during check in * prior to arrival, i had requested for balloons to be added to the room for my friends birthday (i was going to cover the cost). I messaged the hotel back in February and then a reminder the week before we came - the hotel told me this could he completed, however was not carried out when we arrived which was disappointing. Rooms * compact rooms, however clean * essentials included- air con, kettle, hairdryer, and shampoo * we had a twin room and felt the single beds are quite small * one of my bedside lights did not have a lightbulb Staff * all staff were polite, professional, and welcoming * big shout out to David behind the bar who works nights. he made our stay 100% more memorable with his outgoing personality and charm. (ps the best pizzas) * big shout to Jonny behind the bar who is like the big friendly giant and never failed to make us laugh
