The staff, facilities and food were very good and in general I enjoyed my stay. However, parking underneath the hotel, which had been pre-paid, was a major issue. Parking was over subscribed and I had difficulty either finding space or exiting the carpark. On one particular morning a car was parked opposite where I had parked - I had to make several attempts to get out of my space - taking in excess of 10mins to leave the carpark. This was totally unacceptable.

Admittedly the hotel’s seen better days and little things could be better /cleaner but the staff are fantastic and the location is ideal.

We had a family room with a sofa bed, cot and highchair in the room, there was plenty of space for our family of 3. Food and room service was great. Food tasted delicious!

Well Located , Room was a let down

The beds are small doubles and the room was very small with a tiny toilet that is separate from the bathroom . You have to walk to the bathroom to wash your hands after using the toilet . Tea pot is right outside the toilet and the only devision we had with the next room was a white board .

A little shocked when the garage stated that it was FULL ... after struggling through the awful traffic in Blackheath, this was a blow. Pressed the button, however, and the garage started to open. £18 per night pretty expensive but at least the car was warm, dry and safe. Pleasant welcome and made my way to our very good room on Floor 6. Both breakfasts were excellent, although I long for hotels to return to giving one a POT of coffee ... one mug or cup, given before the food arrives, gets cold. Staff in the dining room were excellent though. It took a little longer than we would have liked, to be asked what we wanted, on the first day, but quicker the second day. As I say, cooked meals on both days were delicious. Presumably, you will return to self-service when it is possible in Post-Covid days: nothing beats coming into a dining room and helping oneself! The hotel took great care to have a one-way system in place. The lifts were excellent. The Reception people were excellent. What else can one say - it was a nice stay in (obviously) a very smart hotel, with nice entrance and excellent room.

Dirty room in empty hotel

Room was filthy with a stinking shower and filthy couch, hairs in the bathroom. Considering the times we are in and also the reduced number of guests I am incredibly aggrieved by the levels of cleanliness

We have stayed with you a few times now because of our daughter is at goldsmiths university every time has been a good experience . our only complaint has been the heating system in the room my wife couldn't get warm.

A few issues to note: -Some guests were not wearing masks despite numerous signs and reminders - Room was very hot even after heating turned off - Room service food had been left out by another guest for hours in the communal corrider causing an unpleasant smell - Fellow guests were lying down in corridor blocking exit and were also not wearing masks

First of all I would like to thank you for your honest feedback. We always appreciate our guests opinion as it can help us to improve our service. All issues pointed have been followed up by our maintenance, F&B and Housekeeping team. Please accept my sincere apologise for all these inconveniences. This kind of service is definitely not up to our standards. Regarding the face covering, we always ask our guest to wear them as it is mandatory.
