Even though it was only May, the room was like a sauna, the fan simply blew warm air around the room, uncomfortable to sleep in. The carpet in the room was filthy, despite staying for 5 nights, the glitter that was there at the start of my stay was still there when I left. I had to ask repeatedly for toiletries and coffee to be topped up. The bathroom and toilet layout is very odd, use the separate toilet then walk around to the bathroom to wash hands. The room phone was broken, buttons missing, the bathroom vanity lights were cracked and broken, the tap leaked. Novotel need to reinvest some money into the rooms, did not meet 4 star expectations

We got upgrade as ibis hotel we stayed in was closed Overall good experience complimentary breakfast. Location to station perfect. However normal price for this hotel normally. I was quoted when just looking nearly 700 pound for 3 nights. For me price tag isn't justified.

Too many things to be disappointed about. Standard of a 'superior ' room, badly stained carpets throughout, no minibar, hopeless bar service, poor evening meals, shoddy reception - I could go on. Also difficult to make any official online complaint. Reception actually agreed and said an online complaint would be 'helpful'. So disappointed because Accor have always been associated in our minds with quality and style.

We ended up staying at your hotel due to a booking.com error, we arrived late and unexpected- the staff were fantastic and welcomed us, doing everything to help us! It was a perfect stay.
