Stayed at the Manor House (Queenask) with our family to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary. What a beautiful house! Specious, clean and plenty of room to give us all a bit of space. The rooms were all beautiful. Kitchen was so spacious and well equipped. Bedrooms, especially the Master bedroom, and ensuites were well laid out with luxurious bedding, plenty of towels and accessories. Would like to thank you for leaving the bottle of processco, coated chocolate strawberries, freshly baked biscuits and bowl of fruit. What a lovely gesture for our celebration - it was very much appreciated. Shuttle service to the hotel was used which helped one of our party who had difficulty walking. The breakfast at the hotel was good and although the staff were very helpful and friendly, and although quickly rectified, a couple of mistakes were made with our orders. The swimming pool etc was used and thoroughly enjoyed by our party. Dinner was taken at the Cucina. Again the staff were very helpful and friendly - given a glass of sparkling wine for our celebration - a lovely touch. However, a pizza had to be returned as it was burnt. One of our party has an allergy to onions. Informed the staff. The sauce that was served with the chicken had onions in it and although she wasn't served the sauce, she was just given a piece of chicken with no sauce - very dry and not enjoyable. Only found out when the meal arrived at the table - disappointing. Thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Fairmont Manor House. Would (and have already done so) recommend to friends. Will definitely return. Thank you for making our celebration just that little bit more special.

Booked a night here for my girlfriend's birthday. We usually do a 5-star trip for each of our birthdays and around Christmas time. Gleneagles is our usual go-to, so maybe our expectations are just sky-high now, but this didn't really hit the mark. The grounds are lovely and the staff couldn't have been nicer, but the hotel itself honestly felt more like a glorified Travelodge than a luxury resort. There wasn't a hairdryer in the room which was pretty bizarre and was only noticed once we got ready to go out for dinner and couldn’t dry our hair, although after room service came in the morning one was added. The AC control panel didn’t work and I had to pry the faceplate off just to get the buttons to work at 1a.m. Usually not an issue in Scotland but the whole of the second floor seemed to be boiling which was also a little strange. I missed lunch on the day of arrival so I ordered a room service pizza to tide me over until dinner. It was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Rubbery cheese, totally dried out, and the crust was like rock. I didn't even know you could mess up a pizza that badly. The general spa facilities were alright, although there was paint peeling from the ceiling and the lockers were a total nightmare. Mine wouldn't open up one leaving on day 1, and my girlfriend’s got stuck again on day 2. We ended up having to stand at the reception desk in our swimwear asking for help, and we heard other guests complaining about the exact same thing. The one massive saving grace was the spa treatments. Both of our therapists were absolutely class - they did an amazing job and I'd 100% recommend booking a treatment if you do go. Overall, it did a job. I'd maybe stay here again if I was up on business, but definitely not for a special personal getaway. If you're used to the standard you get at places like Gleneagles, you'll probably leave a bit disappointed.

The hotel delivered a top notch experience, with very few fumbles. My group of 4 stayed 4 nights. The hotel is modern and classy. Breakfast was good, certainly by Scottish hotel standards. Service was B+ for a Fairmount, with most staff highly attentive and friendly. A few points knocked off for breakfast serving staff, which seemed pretty clueless several times. I'd stay here again if I visited the area. Just know that you need a 15 pound / 10 minute taxi to and from restaurants and town.
