Staff were welcoming, the room was comfortable and we enjoyed the spa. We visited the hotel some 10 years ago now and it seems as though there has been zero investment in the hotel since. Unfortunately the hotel decor felt tired in the shared areas and the food was extremely disappointing, especially breakfast. We barely touched the buffet or the food we ordered on the menu. I find it surprising that it has retained its 5 star rating.

Lovely place to stay however drinks in both the bars and mini bar exceptionally overpriced. Bedroom snacks also very pricey.
