Just returned from another NY trip to the Fairmont , love the hotel & staff are always super friendly & helpful . My only gripe this year was there was no fireworks display at the bells which was do disappointing so many people where standing outside for the countdown for it then not to happen . I also loaded a voucher onto my account this wasn’t done correctly & before checkout my card was debited & 5 days down I’m still waiting on my refund not ideal at this time of year . Other than that spa was good , staff are a credit to the hotel

Was ok - the staff were not great. We had to make 5 calls to staff for our room to be cleaned one of the days. It was then done at 6pm which was poor. Also no one had told us we must book swimming slots so we were told one of the days it was full. When we complained they found a space. Again not great and also the team were not particularly helpful.

I booked a one night stay for my mum and I in December for her birthday and she absolutely loved it - the staff could not have been more helpful, we received complimentary drinks and dessert as it was a special occasion and our room overlooking the sea was delightful. The staff were absolutely excellent - nothing was too much trouble. The spa facilities are lovely and we had a great dinner in La Cucina.

The staff at the Fairmount were amazing they gave us a room upgrade before we arrived due to our anniversary and had a extremely generous gift in our room upon arrival. The bed was one of the best we've had. The lunch at the club house was fantastic as was the breakfast. The pool facilities were spot on and the Christmas tree was like something from a Christmas movie set in New York. Thanks for a wonderful stay and we'll be back.

We found our stay ‘satisfactory’. The spa was underwhelming. The pool was full of children dive bombing and screaming throughout the whole time we was in there. Not enough seating to accommodate people. The pool area was dirty. The pool was not open on the morning and was told that it would be open after we had checked out. So paying for a service we could not use. One of the bars was not serving food in the evening which only left the sports bar to eat. The pricing of the food received was unacceptable. £14 for a tiny burger. Children constantly running bare foot from the atrium to the cinema room, screaming and shouting. This happened throughout the whole hour we sat in the bar trying to have a peaceful drink. Then received an invoice stating we had been charged £23 for wine from the mini bar, which we had not consumed. Overall we would not recommend staying here to other people or would stay here again ourselves. Not worth the money.
