When I rang the hotel to book on 3rd August I specifically asked is the disabled room on the ground floor and the lady told me it was, - when I arrived there was no accommodation on the ground floor - the reason I wanted a room on the ground floor was because I had my Mum in a wheelchair and she smokes, she can walk a short distance pushing the wheelchair that is why wherever we stayed I wanted a ground floor room, but every time she wanted a cigarette I had to come down stairs with her, wait for her and take her back upstairs again in the lift, (manoeuvring through 6 heavy doors every time with me pushing my Mum was not easy)

Staff were nice and welcoming, got us checked in quickly, bed and pillows were very comfy, room we stayed in had some scuffs on the walls which gave a bad first impression as we walked in but the room itself and bathroom were clean

This is always our first choice when we visit Sheffield and we have stayed many times. The place is very clean and the staff. Are always friendly and helpful. Our only complaint on this occasion was that there was only half a toilet roll in the room and not even a second spare one on the designated holder. I know we were only staying for one night but feel that a full compliment of toilet roll should be available!

Polite staff, nice little cafe at the main entrance, good workspace. Access to rooms had a spacious lift. Rooms compact, comfortable m, and clean. Aircon in rooms. Although our room (5th floor) looked out onto the road the window did not let in noise, the view up to the hills in the distance was nice (it was sunny when we were there). Parking away from the hotel wasn’t a problem for us, short walk, secure parking. The price was £12 for 24 hours.

Was not too happy with dinner ordered chicken skewers with satay sauce skewers came out very dry and was told after the food was served there was no satay sauce which is main part off the meal so that should have been informed before ordering and paid for then I would have chosen a different meal

My rating would have been much higher, however I woke at 4am that morning to the strong smell of cannabis. This then ruined my work day as a I was extremely tired. I informed the staff later that day and they said they would deal with it. I would like a refund please as this ruined my stay.

Morning, we can only apologies for the smell of cannabis, we do not allow smoking of any kind in the hotel, unfortunately some guests do not accept this, we try our best to stop this happening, if staff had known about this before we would have certainly sorted out the smell, regards

Room was way too hot couldn’t sleep window wouldn’t open and fan wouldn’t work and staff didn’t care.

This was one of my worst hotel experiences. I'd booked a cheap hotel as we were only staying overnight, but it was impossible to find the parking. Then you had to drag your luggage round to find the front entrance. The room was miniscule with one side of the double bed against the side wall. OK for one person, not for two.
