Nice hotel and easy access to town centre etc just a little out of the way in an area I didn't feel safe in when walking back at night after a show. During the day it's fine as many people about and buses etc.

Stayed on the 5th Floor within the Ibis in Central Sheffield. The air conditioning was clearly broken, for that floor and others, which made for an extremely uncomfortable sleep. On top of that, the redemption system, for using the local parking facilities at a discounted rate for over-night parking, was not working. Had to pay billy bundles for parking, and was not as advertised.

Overall disappointing, rather than say what was an issue I will just say that the shower worked (though the shower tray leaked onto the floor) and the breakfast was o.k.

We’d never stayed at a IBIS Budget Hotel before & we were very impressed by what we found, ie lovely decor in the restaurant, nice food and drinks at affordable prices, and helpful staff. The room was functional and we had a great view. The only downside was the air conditioning wasn’t working in our room - so it was uncomfortably hot; we reported the issue and were immediately offered a fan, which did help. We will definitely stay again & highly recommend the hotel 😊

The wifi dropped out constantly, the room was extremely basic and the recommended car park was a longer walk than described. No hand towel in the bathroom, TV was poor quality picture and I think the room was over-priced for what it was.

When we arrived the staff were rude in her tone when asking me if we had been there before, she was very quick to take payment for the room. When we got to the room it was very small and difficult to get in and out of the bed. The breakfast was unreachable due to it being high.
