Novotel Manchester West Hotel 3 stars

My room (120) was cold. The temperature dial didn’t function. The room was blasted with cold air. Your colleague kindly came to look at it and agreed that there was an issue and that the room was too cold to stay in. He swapped me to another room at shortly before 03:00. I’d like to ask what you are going to to do to recompense for this? Thanks, Sam

My "emergency" stay ie no booking no luggage went very smoothly staff were courteous and helpful. Room clean and booking out no problem.

Easy check in Nice spacious room, very clean Only downside was bed was a bit firm so not a comfortable night.

Comfortable and enjoyable

My kids and I enjoyed our stay over the festive period. The staff were warm and friendly. They were also accommodating when we needed to extend our stay.

A very enjoyable stay over Christmas. We were made very welcome and with elderly great grandmother with us everyone at the hotel was very helpful. We slept well in the quiet and comfortable rooms and especially enjoyed the choice at breakfast. Good access, parking, lifts, and a relaxed atmosphere, attention to detail. Thankyou we will definitely stay again, and a happy New Year.

Corridors and room had a dated feel to them, but were clean and everything worked, slightly different room layout to most hotels in that the toilet is housed in a separate "room" that is just big enough to house the toilet, (almost like a toilet stall - just a small space with a door and a toilet), to wash your hands you have to go into the bathroom next door. The bathroom was OK, mine had a shower over a bath, the positioning of the curved curtain track meant that it was impossible to have a shower without the water getting around the edge of the curtain and onto the vanity unit. Secondary glazing is fitted, and the room was relatively quiet considering its proximity to the motorway, but if you opened the window, the noise is intrusive. I was there with a group of work colleagues, we ate our evening meal there, again it was adequate, but I was disappointed with the Jerk Chicken burger as it was not spicy enough for my taste. Breakfast was fine. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful.

This was our first stay at Manchester west. we were greeted very nicely, staff were very cheery and helpful. Meals were very nice, the young lady who served in the restaurant was most helpful and very polite. All in all we had a very nice stay, many thanks.

I enjoyed staying at the novatel the staff were very polite and friendly. the room was very comfortable. the hotel had a quiet relaxing feel to it.

overall service and hotel is great. rooms were a little dated but adequate. wall paper in rooms has that old wood chip effect - a flashback to the 80's. heating controls seemed non-reponsive but the room was not cold. breakfast really good value as kids ate free, staff very contious and welcoming.

Clean and comfortable room Hotel corridor was a little noisy at times Decor needed updating, especially wall paper in toilet area.
