Welcomed by a human at reception which is not something that happens at every hotel. Person who dealt with us was lovely. Room was cleaned to a high standard. Only issue was how long it took to run a bath in our room. Also a bit of wait to be seen to at breakfast on the Sunday but it was busier than the Saturday. We will stay again

The hotel is convenient for my visits to family who live in the area. Stays are always very pleasant. The rooms are well appointed and beautifully clean with everything I need. The gift of wine was a thoughtful touch - thank you! The public areas are spacious, clean and comfortable. Thought has clearly been given to decoration and display. Although I’d not been worried about security, I would imagine the additional secure doors to access rooms would be quite reassuring to guests. Staff are welcoming, courteous and efficient. On any occasion when I have needed help it was given swiftly and politely. There is always plenty of choice at breakfast and staff there are pleasant and efficient but not intrusive.

WOW I think you are a strong contender for our 'guest of the month' award. Joking apart, THANK YOU for your top score and wonderful review. The team is great here, rarely do we have negative comments about the staff and how hard they work at getting the hotel to the best place it can be. Thank you for recognising their efforts. Stayed here many times. Hotel staff friendly and good breakfast. Rooms are clean, large with comfortable beds. Small stock for tea/coffee facilities.
