My husband has limited mobility and the Novotel Manchester West, has great accessible rooms with walk in shower and excellent accessibility to the communal areas and garden, the addition of a fridge in the room is much appreciated. Staff were excellent in reception, the bar and restaurant. Housekeeping staff worked hard to keep all all areas clean and welcoming, reception staff made sure to record that we would need assistance should the hotel need to be evacuated quickly. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and really enjoyed it. The food and service was excellent, the presentation of the food was really good. Breakfast on the first morning was very good, with all dishes kept well replenished and tables quickly cleared and re-set, despite being quite busy with both hotel guests and conference attendees. The second morning was a bit different with a different set of staff, the food was still good but there were waits for serving dishes to be replenished making it difficult to get a full breakfast at the same time. My husband’s disability makes it challenging for us to visit family who live in and around Manchester but the location and facilities of the Novotel Manchester West mean that we can stay in comfort and family can easily visit us there. Thankyou once again for giving us the chance to relax and recharge our batteries. We will definitely stay again

Great for working in a private location. Dead handy to get to, just off the motorway. Great hotel amenities, including a gym which can be used to take a break from the laptop when concentration becomes too much.

Stayed here many times. Reception was welcoming, checked in online so key was ready. Room was clean and comfortable. Only lift wasn’t working but didn’t impact us. Breakfast was not the best it has been. When the sports teams are staying they tend to descend on the buffet like locusts, hoovering up the proteins like eggs and bacon and it wasn’t refilled in a prompt way so we missed out on some things. Young lad covering bar at night is always a credit to the hotel, friendly and always keeps himself occupied cleaning glasses etc when not serving.

Sorry about the lift, it is back in action now. Really pleased with your score and comments. Sorry to read that you had breakfast at the same time as the sports guys, they can be a bit hungry should we say.

Reception snd bar staff great. I stay here regularly now for work. Breakfast cook still surly. Between 7-8 cooked items run out and you have to knock the door to get him to come out to refill. Took some tongs off me one morning snd when i asked him why he said Meat. No other explanation. Between 8-9 am desk host is often missing and after waiting 10 mins customers have to find a member of staff. This week he and the chef were chatting in yhe kitchen when i tracked them down. At least the hosts are polite. Low quality sausages. So unless breakfast is included in a rate, i no longer have it. Evening meals fine by contrast.

Lovely stay. Located in a great location close to motorway but far enough so no noise. Staff were lovely from reception staff to restaurant staff. Rooms were good and we had an upgraded room which was a nice touch.
