Stayed 2 nights. Good location. Room quite cheap. Free parking. Room very warm. No Air con. immediately provided with fan after asking. WC separate from shower which is unusual in present day hotels. Good breakfast. Helpful staff.

Hotel well located, even if Sat nav has trouble finding the entrance! Beds comfortable but the room was very warm - more ventilation would be good. There seemed to be limited choice at breakfast - perhaps due to the current times? Coffee was good. Limited restaurant times and no room service was disappointing, but thankfully the nearby pub provided what we needed at the appropriate time.

Stayed for 9 nights with work. Everything was great from arrival to checking out. The team were very hospitable and friendly, couldn’t do enough for me. Room was very well maintained and comfy bed. Look forward to staying here again for future business trips and even on a leisure trip at some point.

Disappointed in Manchester

We have stayed in Novotel Hotels in several different Countries as well as the U.K. I cannot remember one as bad as this one. We were received very badly which set the tone for the visit. Our room was very basic, we had no Air Conditioning it was very `close` that evening so we had to open the window. Being close to the Motorway we had the drone of the traffic all night and slept very badly. The Staff seemed uninterested. Very disappointing!

Efficient and professional, courteous polite staff - barman (Ben) particularly good and helpful. Breakfast was really good with a variety of choices. Noticeable staff shortages some days for dining room waiting staff and reception

Was a nice pleasant stay, lovely hotel staff and nice breakfast buffet, other than that ac wasn't working in our room and was slightly stuffy and warm during night.

Stay was as expected good tidy room & hotel and breakfast was good. However during the stay there was a wedding reception held and as the guest left the premises the noise was unacceptable. Would advise that guest are asked to leave venue quietly and respect sleeping residents at hotel. Also insufficient tea facilities in room (understand less staff but should still put in sufficient supplies, not just enough for a one night stay).

I realise that Covid has caused problems. Weekend weddings make breakfast times difficult. Fully used dining room, not enough food or staff to manage. Fri Sat and Sunday bad but Monday good. Residents generally don’t wear masks. May not chose B&B next time we say for a weekend.

Noisy, uncomfortable, run down and low general standard.

Extremely disappointed. Hotel was noisy until gone 1AM. Room cleanliness was poor. Put up beds extremely uncomfortable as obviously old. Carpets throughout very stained. Grout in the bathroom very stained. We booked breakfast and due to another adult guest being permitted to enter dining room in pyjamas my daughter refused to eat in the dining room and two of us therefore went without breakfast. Stayed in many Novotels and this was definitely the worst experience! Bad egg smell from the drains in the bathroom.

The room was not as clean as we would of liked it to be dirty sink and bath, but as it was for one night we made do. The pillows on the bed was dreadful and me and my wife have still got a sore neck since lying on them. The restaurant staff was 10/10 so kind and lovely so was the man on reception.
