Have stayed here many times, but have noticed some differences this time. The main difference was that the bar closed at 11pm on Saturday night. We had been to the McMillan theatre and came straight back afterwards to enjoy a drink at the bar. We managed to get one drink, only because we had a token for a free drink with the company we had booked through. The bar tills had been cashed up, and within 10 minutes of our taking a seat, all staff had gone and the bar screens were locked. We were not the only people disappointed….. a party of adult guests checked in just after 11, they had 3 rooms booked, and headed to the bar, but it was obviously closed.

Dear Janette, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies that the bar closed sooner than expected during your stay with us. I hope that you will give us the opportunity to exceed your expectations in the future. Sincerely, Beata Przywara Deputy General Manager

first time in this hotel - booked privilege room - i didn't get the warm and friendly vibe when i checked in was as if i was an inconvenience. I said its my first time her and got told my room is on the 4th floor and the lift is over there. Room was okay not what i would call posh or luxury for their best rooms, it had a balcony with a view over the local supermarket very odd.

Dear Rich, Thank you for taking time to share your feedback. I am sorry that you felt your welcome upon check in was not friendly enough. We pride ourselves on our customer service and I apologise that we disappointed you on this occasion. As our hotel is located in the town centre there are shops within a close walking distance and unfortunately there is not much we can do about the view from the top floor balcony rooms. I hope that you will stay with us again so that we can exceed your expectations on your next visit. Sincerely, Beata Przywara Deputy General Manager

The hotel is a wonderful island in the middle of dirt and squalor called the township of Bridgwater. A haven of cleanliness and tranquillity to escape the piepoudre of the decay and desolation all around. Restaurant (and staff) was excellent.

Well presented Hotel

Was a very good location for the town. Bit expensive parking, quiet inside but bit more expensive than our last Mercure we stayed at but was a little better hotel.
