The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and clean, I valued the air conditioning as I prefer sleeping in a cool room. My only proviso is that the restaurant prices were on the high side having regard to my employer's subsistence allowance. I noticed that quite a few other guests were bringing their own food in which reinforces my point about restaurant prices.

I'd stayed here before and liked the ease of getting around the sites I wanted to. From booking (called directly) to check out the service was fantastic, the evening meal was very very nice and we were even accommodated early on request. We wanted a two night stay but the restaurant was fully booked the second night (Valentines - no surprise!) so couldn't make it. For the evening we did eat the restaurant staff were attentive and not overbearing, something we find overbearing but we have to say 'Gracie' (we think her name was) was fantastic, funny, engaging in a non overbearing way, full of advice and suggestions and made the evening very enjoyable for us - thank you 'Gracie'. Breakfast again was a good part of the stay, very good selection, special requests accommodated no problems and again staff all very friendly. The room was very comfortable, if we have one or two issues it was there were no opening windows (in the room we booked) as we don't like to use air-con alone to heat / cool rooms and the shower room seemed to have the shower water splashing over and has water marked the bottom of the door - both issues didn't detract from the enjoyable stay we had, thank you.

I appreciate your comments regarding the room amenities. While we aim to provide a comfortable environment, I understand that the lack of opening windows can be a concern for some guests. Should you visit again in the future you may wish to book an balcony room, the internal space is a little less than the room you stayed in (as the balcony is within the external elevation of the building) but with the balcony you have the option to leave the door ajar should you wish. Room was clean, starting to look a little tired in places and the room service menu has food waste on it!

I stayed in room 419. There was a constant high pitch ringing noise throughout the night which lead to a very disturbed night. I asked to be moved rooms at about 2000 (just under an hour after checking in) but unfortunately there were no other rooms. A refund also couldn't be provided and I had no alternative but to stay in the room.
