Problems with door keys not functioning every time, showing red light instead green, and required re-setting by reception. TV would not work, asked reception who attended and hinged TV away from wall to locate electric plug disconnect. Original booking included bed & breakfast, made by telephone conversation but we were informed breakfast was not included and would require an additional charge of £41.00. Having stayed at lbis on a number of times previously both in Holland and Swansea in previous years we were not pleased with our visit last week.

The hotel is good and ticks most of the boxes, teh room was even acceptably cool(ish) in the hot weather, BUT breakfast is disappointing. The food looks nice but it is tasteless, the Sausage, has no flavour, or texture, the bacon is too salty and the hash browns are wet and mushy. The orange juice, is not orange juice it is watered down concentrate and the croissants are stale. I'd pay more for higher quality to get my day off on a better footing. The second issue is the car park being used by learner drivers, one almost hit me as they tried to negotiate a left turn by sweeping onto my side of the road (it is bad instruction) but I feel that having these learners in the car park adds to the risk of my car sustaining damage. I cannot understand it, there are other car parks nearby which are larger /quieter and give more opportunity for tuition. I will think twice about coming to the Ibis again, as I don't like the additional risk.
