A bottle of quite expensive cosmetics was broken by their cleaning staff - not only was I not informed (I had to find out after several visits to reception) but the hotel accepted no responsibility for it and blamed an external cleaning company. No reply from the hotel manager or the external cleaning company. I really don't expect to stay in a hotel and for my personal items to be at risk!! My colleague's kettle didn't work, another colleague's room was dirty and the coffee machine didn't work for the entire duration of our 4 day stay. Will be telling my company to book at the Village on the next work trip next.

Modern and spacious hotel. Comfortable bed. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good though the fruit was a bit past its best.

The hotel is very well located. The room I had could do with a refurbishment. The bar had run out of white wine and gin. Not a lot of choices at the bar. One female staff that evening spent most of her time outside and would run in when someone needed serving. I did like the hotel and I would give It another chance hoping there would some improvement. The Hotel is also very well priced

On the flip side, it seems we've got some room for improvement. While our bar is usually well-stocked, it appears we were caught off guard during your visit. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. My only negative was trying to find the hotel. It is not found on google map in the right location and when I tried to call the hotel several times no one answered. I eventually found someone who could direct us.
