Bed was awful, despite paying for a “premium” room - sounded like it was going to break at even the slightest movement. I had a slight nosebleed one of the nights and when I returned to my room the following afternoon, housekeeping had just flipped the pillow rather than changing it for a fresh one. The breakfast was so awful I didn’t bother having any after the first morning despite paying for it for the whole week, my young children could have cooked the food better! The hotel is also used to house the homeless and drug-users by the local authority - has I known this prior, I would have booked somewhere else to stay as being a lone female in a city I do not know, it was very intimidating to have people standing outside watching you enter who are clearly high and therefore unpredictable. The only positive thing I can mention is until around 5.30am, the hotel is quiet enough despite being next to a main road so sleeping is not a problem (as long as you’re not wanting a lie in!)
