The hotel is next to my work location and stayed over due to an event. The service and food were top notch. Indeed the breakfast offering was extensive, of high quality and fresh. It would put some hotels in a higher price bracket to shame. Overall, the Ibis delivers where it matters and is well run with a team that has a real customer focus. Thank you !

The rooms are very basic, the mattresses and duvets are extremely thin and the rooms are cold. Its very basic but conveniently located and the reception staff are friendly.

I stayed the first night in a room with a broken A/C. It was terrible. They offered me a small radiator and told me that it would heat the room but didn’t even think to offer another. I was too exhausted so I crawled up under the duvet. It turned out one radiator wasn’t enough for the entire room. Quite a few young people are working there but some of them are not equipped with sufficient interpersonal skills or foresight to address the problems. Thank God, next day a woman named Natalia, although I’m not entirely sure if I got her name right, was able to change my room. If your A/C doesn’t work in the middle of the winter, you shouldn’t offer a room. If it had been broken before I checked in, then you should have at least thought to heat the room beforehand. It was unbelievable to have stayed the night without a working A/C in the middle of the winter in the center of a city like Cambridge. Aside from the bad experience I had, breakfast was nice and the rooms were clean. Most of staff were friendly.
