Quickly allocated a room for our 2 night stay. Air con was very noisy and had a mind of its own sometimes pumping out hot air then cold whilst set on a continuous temp The main problem was the extractor fan in the bathroom which we could not turn off so it’s continuously pumps air into the bedroom and it was very noisy when trying to sleep. Stayed here for 2 nights. Housekeeping didn’t bother to clean room or to give us anymore towels or toilet paper. At checkout no one asked how our stay was. All we was greeted was with is ” room number?” Handed key card over and that we it. Overall I don’t think I would stay here again. .

There was a problem with the Accor booking and my booking was cancelled without notification. The hotel staff quickly resolved the issue when I checked my reservation on the day before arriving.

The main bed was OK, bit the extra bed for my son had slats missing and he didn't sleep well

Was ok not clear how to get in though. Also left room for food and a walk when I got back my bag had been taken from the room as they thought I had gone. To be fair it came back before I was able to go and find it and the person did apologize. Overall ok

We had both an email and phone call on the day of arrival (1st October) to say that our booking had been moved to December. Caused us a lot of stress until we arrived and checked in .Great to have 10% discount in Chill 2 bar. A hand towel in the room would have been good. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

All was so good, apart from the toilet in the room was not clean, with signs it had been recently used. Basic mistake that should never happen

We had a great stay. The service staff was very accommodating and the hotel was very well connected to the city. The rooms were modern and practical. The beds were very comfortable. The only minus is that they gave me a handicap room which I didn’t requested.

Reasonable stay for two nights rather than the usual one, after dropping my daughter off at University! I didn’t appreciate th after at I needed to request room service, so when I returned following a day out there were no fresh towels or tea/milk etc and I had to resolve myself! I will be prepared next time!

A well located super modern hotel a reasonable walk from the main touristy stuff with extremely polite and helpful staff that make for memorable weekend breaks. The hotel was also surprisingly quiet considering its proximity to the main railway station. Breakfast was varied, plentiful and great value for money and the main reception area coffee bar/cafe provided an excellent option to grab a bite. Definitely our ‘go to’ for any future visit to Cambridge.

Acceptable stay in Cambridge with the common parts being more impressive than the rooms

A convenient location for the train station, though still about a 25 minute walk into central Cambridge. The reception/lobby area is done nicely with a trendy looking cafe that serves pizza and drinks that would be pleasant to visit even without being a hotel guest. We had a small pizza which was very tasty. The downstairs area overall feels quite modern and trendy and that was the highlight. The rooms were basic with the bathroom being a bit plasticy. The weird door and sink felt very budget where the rest of the room wasn’t as bad. There were some marks on the sink, one of the towels and some odd spillage marks on the carpet. If you don’t look too closely, the room is clean enough to be comfortable for a place to sleep if that’s all you need it for. I can’t help thinking it’s a bit of a shame the rooms were not as nice as the downstairs area.

I stayed in Ibis Cambridge in business trips prior to COVID lock-down, and recently returned once the office re-opened. The hotel is immaculately clean, and the staff are as friendly as ever. The service is always great and the COVID measures the hotel is taking make me feel completely safe. Many thanks to the management and to all the reception, bar, kitchen and cleaning teams of Ibis Cambridge!
