Just outside Cambridge train station and an easy walk to the center of town. Rooms are spacious enough and clean. We had one with a nice view of the station. Beds could be better ( thicker matras ) but it’s fine for a few nights. Staff were all friendly and attentive.

Simple check in. Room spacious but I was allocated a ‘disabled’ room which I dislike. Ground floor catering facility very busy so I didn’t feel inclined to explore that option.

Comfortable, well-appointed room with space for travelling items. Room service daily to tidy up and restock. Café on ground floor convenient for a snack and friendly staff throughout. Only downside was having two rowdy rooms to the side and opposite over the weekend. Came back to the hotel after a day of meetings to be met by music being played far too loudly and both room doors open so that the occupants could shout at each other across the corridor. Suggest keeping one corridor for business users so it is quiet. Getting up at 7am when neighbours come in at 4am is not conducive to a good stay.

Nice size double bed bedroom, bed very comfortable and breakfast great. Only not so great observation was old black marks on towels in bathroom, presumably mascara that didnt come out in wash. However would stay again.

You step off the train and into this upmarket Ibis in no time at all. We have stayed in Accor hotels for many years, and this felt like an Ibis Ibis Styles and Mercure all in one!

Lovely welcoming staff who very kindly put prosecco in our room to help us celebrate my friends 30th birthday. Very clean room and great price. Unfortunately we had very noisy neighbours at 4am, however the security staff did come up to try and quieten them down. Would highly recommend staying here for a budget stay.

Only one night I stayed but it was very comfortable. Much better than what one normally expects from an Ibis. Very modern and had a good selection from the breakfast.

Very very small room. Could hardly walk around the edges of the bed. Tiny bathroom. Dirty. I had to complain and get them to vacuum the room again.

Lets start with Sandra - One of the most welcoming and friendly staff I have ever met in a hotel, anywhere! She is a real credit to Accor. Checkin process was extremely smooth and they recognised my brand status and confirmed that I could get a free drink in the bar. As well as the room key, I was given a thin wooden 'light key' (so rather than having to use a supermarket loyalty card, or god forbid your credit card, you can keep your key with you, whilst leaving the heating on! (Well impressed!) The shower pod is what I have become used to at Ibis and yes, I do actually like them (they make a great steam room ;0) ) The room was well presented and modern, but the part that I really appreciate was the hand written welcome note (Not computer generated like other places!) There was also some local lentil chips (crisps) made of lentils (really really nice and surprisingly nice at that!) and a bottle of Gin and Tonic!! These guys really know how to look after their guests. I had a pastry and coffee in the morning which was just right for me and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cambridge (as it is right next to the Train Station) - but you won't hear the trains! 5/5 amazing people and place.

We stayed one night, travelling by train from London for a family event. The location was therefore extremely convenient., and we appreciated being able to leave our baggage for the day, after checking out. The room had everything necessary for a short stay, and the breakfast choice was very comprehensive. The coffee shop/reception area was a convenient and comfortable place to meet other family members. Staff members were helpful when advising us on directions.

Ok. Was given a room on the noisy station side. As a gold member I would expect a better located room. WiFi experience at IBIS continues to be painful. Why do I have to log in every stay and each day?

The IBIS sign at the top of the building is not very obvious and I had to ask station staff: it could have been one of several newish buildings. Also, the front door looks just like any café, not the main (and only) entrance to the Hotel
