Very good stay in city centre

Well located hotel in the Glasgow city centre. It's not on Sauchiechal street which is confusing. Competent and very friendly staff, really good Glasgow vibe there. It was nice to get complimentary drinks, didn't expect that. Room size and the plastic chair and plastic feel to the bathroom were probably the most negative aspects, but nothing terrible. Still, I see standard Ibis as comparable to other budget brands such as Premier Inn or Leonardo's and above Travelodge and the room was smaller than any Travelodge or Premier room I've stayed in. Beds were very comfortable, and so was the temperature.

My sister and I stayed in the hotel for a concert we were attending. We had a lovely stay and really liked the room. It was perfect for us. I was a little bit disappointed that it wasn’t as clean for an IBIS hotel. A lot of dust on the skirting boards around the wardrobe stand and under the beds. Also a bit concerned for disabled access room that there wasn’t really enough room for a wheelchair to get through without having to move the beds. My husband uses a wheelchair and I can tell by looking at the space that it wasn’t enough for him to get through.

Dear Carolyn S., Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at ibis Glasgow City Centre - Sauchiehall Street. We are glad to hear that you and your sister had a lovely stay and enjoyed your room. Your feedback is important to us, and we appreciate your comments regarding the cleanliness of the room. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the dust on the skirting boards and under the beds. We have taken note of your feedback and will address it with our housekeeping team to ensure that such oversights are avoided in the future. Regarding the disabled access room, we understand your concerns about the space for a wheelchair to maneuver comfortably. We appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration as we continue to improve our accessibility features. Thank you once again for choosing our hotel. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future. Best regards, ibis Glasgow City Centre - Sauchiehall Street

Extremely disappointed

The hotel is not local to Sauchiehall Street as advertised. It was like going through a maze to next door hotel for breakfast or use the bar. The breakfast was awful, ingredients practically cremated. Overpriced, and not happy with the amount of immigrants staying. Would definitely not stay again or recommend to anyone else.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay at ibis Glasgow City Centre - Sauchiehall Street. We understand that the location may not have met your expectations, and we apologize for any confusion caused. Online you can find the complete address and, as per each Ibis in town, you will find the nearest most important street close to the name in order to understand the location of the hotel.. We appreciate your comments regarding breakfast and have taken note of your feedback regarding the quality of the ingredients. Ibis and Novotel are a combo hotel and we only share the restaurant; Ibis has a 24h bar in the lobby area. We strive to provide a pleasant experience for all our guests, and we apologize if this fell short during your stay. Thank you again for your feedback. Best regards, Adele
