The hotel says City Centre, i did not feel this was in the city centre, the centre was a good 30 minutes walk and was very hilly. The hotel was very dated, clean but there were stains on my carpet. The room was so noisy, i kept waking up at different times in the night with slamming and banging

I find this hotel to be an extremely convenient place to stay when attending shows at the nearby King's Theatre. In fairness, Ibis was not my first choice, actually it was my fourth choice. However, the hotel was clean, the room was clean and relatively comfortable. Missed having a safe and mini fridge. I didn't realize walking from Buchanan Bus Station with wheely luggage was such a distance and mostly uphill.

The hotel was comfortable and well equipped. The staff were friendly helpful and professional. Good breakfast (but no gluten free bread available). Pretty well located for city centre. Parking close by and good hotel rate for parking. My preference on Accor website is to be further from the lift but I was quite close to it so a little nosier with people passing by.

15 minutes walk from central station. Very close to the King’s theatre and lovely historic pub The Griffin opposite. Just over the motorway is Kelvingrove museum & art gallery and a short walk up by the River Kelvin is Glasgow University.
