The hotel was comfortable and well equipped. The staff were friendly helpful and professional. Good breakfast (but no gluten free bread available). Pretty well located for city centre. Parking close by and good hotel rate for parking. My preference on Accor website is to be further from the lift but I was quite close to it so a little nosier with people passing by.

15 minutes walk from central station. Very close to the King’s theatre and lovely historic pub The Griffin opposite. Just over the motorway is Kelvingrove museum & art gallery and a short walk up by the River Kelvin is Glasgow University.

The room was basic. The hard plastic desk chair was the only place to sit, and was neither adjustable nor comfortable. I haven't been in a hotel for decades that makes the decision whether I can heat or cool my room for me. The shower was small. There was nothing truly bad about the hotel, but I've stayed at other properties in Glasgow that provide better value for the money.

Had my evening meal and a couple of drinks in the bar/ restaurant on the first floor and was delighted by the service I received from one particular member of staff called Cameron, he was so friendly and chatty and made my experience such a positive one which was great as I am on my own now and it's hard and he made the experience considerably easier for me.

Myself and my partner had a nice stay at the Ibis, Sauchihall Street, Glasgow. I picked this hotel as it is just a short walk from the train station and very close to the venue where we were dining out that night. The staff were courteous and friendly and our room was more than adequate for an overnight stay. A very comfortable bed and a good shower. The only downside was that the room was very warm, even with the window open. (Glasgow was having an unusual mini heatwave when we stayed) However there was a small cooling unit in the room which helped a bit. There was sufficient hanging space in the wardrobe for our few clothes. A modern room with abstract drawings on the walls. A large TV on the wall. Not the largest room we have stayed in but we thought it was very good value for money for staying in Glasgow city centre. A free drink voucher was also included in the price which was a pleasant bonus 👍 Overall we would definitely stay in this hotel again if staying in the city overnight.
