bed was good, shower room nice to to have flooding like other hotels. Chromecast on the TV wasn't working, and the t/cable connection kept breaking up.

This was my second stay at Ibis Shoreditch. This time it went less well than last time. Hotel did not see my note that I am fully deaf. They has to move things around to get me a deaf accessible (with visual alarm) room which turned out to be a Triple Sweet Room, that was too big. On top of that the TV in the room did not work. That really sucked as I spent a lot of time in my room due to low energy. They gave me two free drinks from the bar as compensation. It was nice but I would rather have they had fixed the TV. Breakfast was fine. The people clearing tables are over eager tho, I got up to get one extra hashbrown and when I returned one minute later my table was cleared.

Excessively high cost given that I stay regularly. Unable to get my welcome drink as a Gold Member as booked through work travel system. Have still not received my invoice by e-mail despite asking 3 times: on check-out, again by e-mail on afternoon of 14th Oct, and again by phone on morning of 15th October. WiFi didn't work in my room. Bathroom drains had a bad odour.

We’ve been coming back to the Ibis Shoreditch time and again for years. For us, the location is perfect; there’s plenty within walking distance and there are two Underground stations nearby, whilst Liverpool Street Station isn’t far either. We really appreciate the friendly and attentive staff. At breakfast, as well as the generous selection, the hotel’s growing environmental awareness is also a positive feature. Almost everything is now served unpackaged

Service as expected. Room is very basic, with old beds. Location is fine for a one-night stay, as it was near a tube station and a tesco express. Discovered that our room window wasn’t locked which was scary. Lobby bar operates 24hrs but hardly serves anything by 9pm.

I stayed overnight before a London conference. The reason I’m bothering to write a review is that the guy who checked me in was excellent. He was competent, friendly, interested. Couldn’t fault him. Good room, too - no real outside noise, which isn’t often the case. And, as a gold member, a nice beer as a welcome drink. It was £100 less than I usually pay in London and I was very happy. I was meant to stay in a standard room for two nights but seemingly the hotel overbooked and on arrival I was moved to a triple room. Not the best experience

That's as far as it goes. 3pm check in and you can have an early check in. We tried to check in at 14:38 and it wasn't possible. The room wasn't ready. Even as we checked in just after 3pm, the room still wasn't ready but we wanted to enjoy our time in London. The lady who checked us in was nice, the guy was rude and had no time for us.

Tiny and simple room/bathroom were expected. One towel for each person is a bit rude though. Also: the beds are horrid. Old, painful mattress and the twin beds are so small you can’t turn without falling out. Too bad as the location is good and staff was very friendly.

Booked a wheelchair accessible room with roll in shower. Phoned hotel prior to arrival and was assured it was accessible for a wheelchair. Arrived at hotel and room totally inadequate for a wheelchair entry.
