Staff were nice. Rooms were clean, but despite advertising air conditioning there is a big sign beside the temp unit in the rooms saying “this is not air conditioning” and it certainly didn’t blow cold.

For the price, I expected a far nicer room and staff. Room did not have good amenities and was far too hot to be comfortable. Found the staff on entry to be quite abrupt and abrasive. I did like the late check out but apart from that was quite disappointed.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at ibis London City - Shoreditch. I arrived earlier than anticipated, and Jorge helped accommodate an early check-in for me. He was extremely courteous throughout the check-in process and helped me sign up for the loyalty program with minimal hassle. The room showed some wear, but was clean and comfortable. One minor issue I had was that the QR code in my room was supposed to link to hotel information; however, the website was broken. Since there is no phone in the room, I wasn't sure how to contact the front desk from my room and I couldn't remember when breakfast/check-out time was. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel again.
