No kitchen staff only reception staff in reception clothing. Kitchen was dirty. Food running out constantly. Dining area was filthy. Staff saying it's only them and they were doing the best they can but this was far from good enough. I accept it was a budget hotel but food hygiene should be paramount and it was not. No sign of hand washing when they moved from reception to kitchen and no gloves or kitchen clothing. I was shocked by the whole experience.

The room was clean and tidy, but felt a little crammed. The food was OK but the cooked meats and cheeses were not covered over . The topping up of the food was slow.
