The room was very cold as the heating was allegedly broken!! Reported to reception who provided us with a second oil filled radiator to use. Took all night for room to reach reasonable temperature, we had to sleep with additional thin duvet which we took from top bunk. Not acceptable on a very cold day in January. Probably will not stay here again which is a shame because everything else was okay and it’s so close to the Mayflower terminal where we embarked our cruise

It was too humiliating, if not insulting, for ibis to ask me self-prove the prepayment already done WAS ACTUALLY GENUINE. At the very last minute when I was checking in at the reception counter, my accor account still showed I had paid in advance in full. The reception staff kept asking me to prove the prepayment was actually genuine. Then how and why? Your system still showed to me the payment was done. No other option but I had to produce my credit card monthly statement to prove the relevant transaction was duely charged and successfully posted more than 30 days ago. So please from now on, state clearly in any booking receipt that it is the responsibility of the customer but not ibis itself to prove any prepayment made IS GENUINE. Please be reminded that my booking was made directly on accor.com, NOT via any third party online platform.
