Lovely room, simple & efficient shower, comfy bed. The only things that weren't great were the lack of kettle/tea/coffee etc, and the fact that the light "pads" were an absolute enigma! I would stay again, though...really handy for transport links!

Check in was very easy - friendly & helpful staff. Room was fine & bed / pillows comfy. Room on 9th floor so was very quiet, albeit with some traffic noise outside. But shower must have taken 15 minutes to get warm (I'm not joking!). Then 1 of lifts broke down, so it took forever to get down to ground floor. Breakfast was sadly pretty poor fayre. Hash browns looked uncooked, egg was tasteless, no fruit salad. Lift still broken on sunday, so slow to get up and down. Check out very easy. Feel sorry for the staff, when they are let down by failing equipment in the hotel

Booked a room for 3. 1 being a 5 year old child. When arriving at our room the sleeping arrangements had a sticker on 'not suitable for children under the age of 6' We all 3 had to share one small double bed. A shower right next to the bed.. thats a new one. And silverfish.. yes thats right, bugs crawling around the floor in the room. It was a very unpleasant stay.

Breakfast choice was very poor and cold especially for those with dietary requirements. Sink in the bedroom is a weird situation. TV small and in the corner. Shower hard to get in and out of and no privacy from the other person in the room. Coffee machine not working in breakfast area and dining area is not really that. The only blot on my stay was the first few days from Monday where there was limited breakfast supplies. The management team explained the problem of logistics supply chain was not functioning, and they were awaiting a delivery of products. This problem existed until the weekend. The staff worked to fill the gap with other products but it was a let down from my previous stay. The other problem I had was making my booking, ACCOR web site told me there were no rooms. I booked through another web site I found on line. Somehow this meant that I do not get any points benefit for been a member.

My husband was in St James Hospital for a few days, the hotel was located between the hospital and the city centre both which where an easy commute, it was comfortable enough for my needs, only spending time there on the evenings. I found the small tv a little difficult to see and the volume which was set at a certain level little too quiet, apart from that it was fine
