We didn't find the unusual conditions imposed by Covid requirements spoiled our stay except in one minor respect - we had taken coffee and sugar, but with no fridge the milk turned sour on our second day. (Perhaps the hotel could offer fresh milk daily in these circumstances, ..... although the current restrictions shouldn't last much longer). ...... also, with only one cardboard cup,we went out and bought mugs.
Well located friendly staff

We arrived on Saturday with two dogs and requested a quiet room. We got room 240 in the end of corridor (apparently the quietest one in the hotel). Unfortunately the guests accommodated just opposite us have been heavily drinking in the enclosed Ibis bar and kept coming back and forth untill late hours. They have been noisy (banging doors, shouting, singing etc.) which was setting our dogs off. At about 1am I had enough and told them off - they have been reasonably quiet after that. The room itself was extremely hot (about 25°C) and the cooling system wouldn't turn on as the outside temperature was below 16°C, therefore we have opened the outside window to let some cool air in. Our window was situated to the back of the hotel at the car park. There is several pubs and play house out there. Drunk people have been shouting through the whole night, there have been noise of what seemed to be a car racing and people pressing their car horns (even at 4.30am!!). So we didn't sleep at all that night. It is a shame there is no phone at the room to call the reception as we would have reported it (I didn't want to walk down to the reception in my sleeping gown). On the other hand as we arrived quite late on Saturday (around 9pm) and hungry the 24/7 bar does offer pizzas through the night which are delicious! However the lady on the night shift didn't wipe a single table after previous guests have used it (with the current Covid situation I would have thought this to be done automatically after each use!) In the morning of the check out we have mentioned the above. The receptionist was apologetic and we were offered a free coffee which we have politely declined (I'm pregnant and my husband already had one elsewhere) I understand that you can't do much about the noise outside, but maybe you could do something with the cooling system so we don't have to open the windows. Also the hotel guests could be told to keep quiet in the corridor and their rooms to not disturb other guests.

The rooms are not clean, tiny, the bed provided was rock hard and upon looking it was just a small frame with a thin mattress on. Cig burns all over the windows. Barely any facilities provided. It was an absolute disgrace. Trying to charge over 200.00 for 2 nights in this is daylight robbery. Ive stayed in much nicer hotels for 100+ per night. I would expect to pay no more than 50.00 for this.
