Three of our rooms had lukewarm showers. We had been motorbiking all day and were in need of a shower. We had to tolerate the like warm water. Staff were very friendly and offered to change rooms but we had already showered and didn’t want the upheaval

The greeting at reception was good, until I went to lift, dirty carpets, when I hit out if lift the corridor carpet was stained and dirty. I was put in a disabled room, ok but water barely warm for shower next morning . I told the man on reception about this, who wasn’t very interested, and could barely raise a smile, and was scruffy.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was superb. The room was fine but a little shabby and I found the pillows were not to my taste. Good value. We inadvertently paid for parking because the signage in the main part of the car park implied we had to.
