We choose to stay at Ibis as it is really very well located and a much better experience from Travelodge. Premier Inn in Carlisle is too far out of the City Centre. One feature of staying at Ibis is the free car parking to the rear of the hotel.

We booked the Ibis as it was in the centre of Carlisle very close to where we were meeting friends for dinner. Check-in was a breeze and the room was very clean and comfortable. Whilst there was a couple of noisy guests on the corridor in the early morning, the surroundings were actually very quiet in the room we were in. The bar downstairs was a lovely chill space where we met up with all our friends staying elsewhere because it was the nicest place to meet up before dinner. Breakfast the following morning had absolutely everything that you could desire. All in all a lovely stay.
