Rooms needs to be updated, the whole hotel needs an upgrade. We had a lekkage in the bathroom second day of arriving and let staff know nothing was done. We were staying for 5 nights. On the last night we came back and all our stuff in the bathroom were wet because lekkage came back. Staff on duty was nice enough to give us a new room and free drink to compensate however it was still very inconvenient as i was pregnant and had to move and dry some of my stuff. I made a video to show how bad it was. I would appreciate a partly refund instead as this is not what i expected and paid for.

I faced the back with lots of air conditioning units. That can't be helped but the double glazing was useless at keeping out the constant noise. It also didn't keep out the constant thud of a nearby nightclub till gone at least 3am.

Creaky floors means you hear those above you and the people below you can hear you walking. Don’t know if walls are thin but is an old building which might explain why you can hear when anyone leaves their room or talks outside in the hall. No shower door (glass only goes half way). Lots of dust in vents and gunk/mold looking in shower drain and vent. Fan was so dusty inside, it blew white bits all over the room when switched on. Clear it had not been cleaned in a while. Fire alarm test went off three times starting from 6am - 12pm. Was not told this would be happening so was panicked when woken out of my sleep. Finally, cleaner do not pay attention to Do Not Disturb sign - needed to double lock door locked to keep them from entering. Reception were helpful.

I was not satisfied with the room i was given. Room 452 is on the topmost floor and farthest on the corridor. I stayed for just two nights and it was not good having to do all that "exploration" within that short stay. Communication with the front desk via Whatsapp is also not ideal. I cannot imagine the situation if your Guest is not literate. However, the environment is clean and peaceful.

This must be the worst Obis hotel I have ever visited. No sleep due to a night club near by pumping out extremely loud noise to 4 in the morning. The smell coming from the bathroom is the worst smell I have ever had coming from the drains. It stank the room out as soon as you opened the bathroom door. Overall a very bad hotel . The only good part is the staff.

The stay was for one night but I have stayed on a regular basis. The stay would be described as practical. There was no specific issues, no reason to make a complaint in the hotel. But you have asked for feedback Jennifer and the feedback from a number of my stays and comments from collogues are that, the hotel is simple and practical. But no atmosphere, not even from the team who you recognize from revisits. But they do not recognize returning customers, that could be passed off as lots of different people passing by, but this comes with the small delays that are generally in the hotel reception or bar area. it does take more than a few moments for someone to come out the office to attend the bar or reception when you present yourself. You can easily check this from the CCTV system to see how long it actually is generally. Again it can sometime feel like we are interrupting something more important going on in the office as a customer. Now I am in sales and have been for more than 40 years, stayed in ten's of thousands of hotels and maybe you are aiming for a simple and practical hotel vibe, but for being remembered for returning guests those small things make a difference.
