A nice hotel, was here for an event. A bit of a walk from hotel to where it was, but was ok. Online maps were not that accurate, but this is not the fault of the hotel. Nice room, quite room. We are married and have been so since 2012, but one of the staff looked stunned we would wish a double-bed as we are same sex. That annoyed me alot, and not great for a chain. The staff should not make assumptions about ones background!. Would that happen to a straight couple - no, it would not. That staff member was rather surly and hardly cracked a smile - firt 10 second impression was not good at all. I do think more education around the fact it is 2026 and not 1926.

Very good hotel that felt nice and clean. Clearly an old Holiday Inn Express, but it felt like an Ibis Styles and was comfortable an in a good location for the centre of the city.

We had a lovely family stay. The free hot drinks were very much appreciated and the staff were really helpful. Beds were comfortable and there was a good amount of room in the room for our family with the sofa bed pulled out for the children.

Checkin: he wanted to charge me 100£ more. Then he didn’t know that we had breakfast included. By the way the Breakfast isn't worth money. They charged me the price when I checked in and again on the last day. Refund on my CC costs me 5€ Service Charge.
