Rooms are adequate but the bathroom is very small. No aircon so the room gets stufy if it's warm outside. TV only shows a few channels despite the guide saying there is more. At least you can cast to it from your own device. The reception area is bright and airy with a good bar area, pool table, plenty of seating and a restaurant area. It is possible to order food in the evening too. I've stayed in Ibis Styles in France and found them to be of a higher quality than this hotel. The location is very good with the main shops close by as well as Gunwharf Quays, a very nice outlet area. The team were very friendly and efficient especially as we arrived quite late. Breakfast has a varied selection of hot and cold food. Beds are nice and firm with extra pillows if needed. Overall, it was an okay stay (2 nights) with the opportunity to park in a private area for £12 every 24 hours. Not sure I would stay there again if visiting Portsmouth especially considering how much it cost for a midweek stay. How can a Wednesday night be £60 more expensive than a Tuesday night??? I used the All Accor app to book which was extremely easy.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this Ibis hotel. Breakfast was great too, thank you to the chef and the lady at the desk ( wearing black glasses 👓 sorry didn’t catch her name) She’s was on her own both morning we came down for breakfast checking guests in to the buffet, seem very hard working and I can see her dedication to work ethic. Very small rooms, especially the shower and toilet, hubby only just managed to sit on the loo ! Not particularly clean in room and hallways, but ok for the one night stay needed for a ferry the next day. Breakfast was really great and very clean.

Check in easy and, unlike their budget counterpart, ample parking. Room basic but comfortable and ideal for one night stay. I do wish that there were two extra pillows rather than just one. On the whole all good.

From the moment we arrived, our experience at the hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, with the front desk staff making us feel right at home immediately. Viorica checked us in quickly giving every detail about the town and specific places to visit like the spinanale tower and dockyard. Highlights of our stay: The Room: Spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed.This is value for money if you are looking for economy with confort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the room offered wonderful views of the street. Service: The staff went above and beyond at every turn. Whether it was providing local recommendations, or fulfilling quick requests, every interaction was warm, professional, and efficient. I cannot fail to mention Tonmoy, Fiana and Jackson. These are genuine passionate hospitality staff that went above my expectations. Each of them compliment my stay in a way I could not describe it enough in words but excellent. They are also bilingual. Amenities & Dining: The breakfast buffet was fantastic, offering a fresh and diverse selection of quality options. Full English breakfast, cereal and croissant and fruit salad. The facilities were equally well-maintained and added great value to our stay. Location: Conveniently situated in the centre of the city approximately 5 minutes to the station and with easy access to local transportation, several restaurants and main attractions, making exploring the area completely stress-free. In fact you can also walk to the beach it’s 10 minutes. It is rare to find a place that hits every mark so consistently. We left feeling completely refreshed and will definitely be returning on our next trip. Highly recommended! I give the staffs 10 over 10 on professional and personal ethics:

We stayed here during a short trip from London and had a great experience. The staff were friendly, helpful, and had a real can-do attitude. The place was clean, and the 8-ball pool was a great addition. This hotel is very close to Gunwharf Quay and Spinnaker tower. Beach is not even far. The only downside was that the bathroom was quite small, which may be an issue for taller guests, but it didn’t cause us any problems. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the place.
