Smooth check-in and check-out, room tidy but a bit small. The only problem- money frozen on my account for waaaay to long considering the booking was fully pre-paid

Our second stay at this hotel. Rooms are on the small side but have everything you need for an overnight or a short stay. Staff at reception always friendly and helpful

Room was small but ok for a short stay. However, the walls seem paper thin and any sound from the hallway can be heard in the room. I had full English breakfast each of the three mornings. The first one on Friday was miserable: Only the sausages were warm, the rest was lukewarm/cold. Also, there was no gluten free bread available. Thankfully, it picked up significantly and the remaining two mornings were ok. Although I checked out two days ago I have not yet received my invoice by email. I will need to chase this up separately.

Disappointed with stay - water pouring through restaurant while having breakfast , bins and buckets on floor to collect water , 1 towel in room .

Only 15 minutes walk from gunwharf Quay. The rooms are small, but functional. The bathrooms are just that tiny bit too small for comfort. We understood that covid made the breakfast a different experience, but it wasn't a great meal and we didn't finish it.

Everything was ok considering we are in a pandemic only fault I had and that was at breakfast where tables won’t cleaned after guests have eaten on a double table and only one sat at the table there was about 3 tables not cleaned and other guests were sitting at these tables we told a few that it haven’t been cleaned. So on the way out we told a member of staff to look at the tables

From the moment I arrived I felt well taken care of. The cordiality of the staff is superior. I would like to thank Fernanda for her very professional welcome and Agatha for her kind attention during check out. Andres was great at the bar. The room was extremely neat. The hygienic measures were very successful. The location was excellent -close to train station, museum, amenities, supermarkets, pharmacy and good places to eat. No doubt that on my next visit to Portsmouth, which I hope will be soon, I will stay at Ibis Central. ZM

Breakfast was decent, but breakfast times were not advised at check in. Bed sheets were bit dusty as well as bed frame. Very noisey at night as other guests standing around the corridors hanging out until 3am. However Staff were all friendly and helpful

Had such a great little holiday coming to visit from London, the staff helped me with all my little enquiry’s and were very attentive and welcoming. The location is perfect also, a short walk from the beach, shopping centre and all the other attractions, would definitely recommend!

The receptionist that very night was simply nice, with good customer relations skills. Every other thing was good except the room central heater; it's more like not working at all, felt cold all through.

An enjoyable weeks stay in this hotel apart from our last night/morning when we were disturbed be a dog barking constantly in a nearby room and by what sounded like another guest encouraging their dog to run up and down the hallway outside our room complete with the owner whistling and shouting the dog all at 6am in the morning!!

As usual at this hotel, staff are excellent - friendly and efficient - especially Adam who is a star. Some of the other aspects are letting the hotel down - especially housekeeping. Sheet on the bed was tucked in a long way at one side and didn't reach the edge at the other - this is just sloppy when IBIS's main advert talks about sweet beds or similar. Thre was a black bag of rubbish left in the corridor during the whole stay. We've stayed in many hotels recently and there are better ways (experienced at least three) to give the customer more choice and with safe service at breakfast than a few items in a bag....time to stop hiding behind covid and get pro-active!

Reception poor, charged twice for stay, toilet shower room very small. Would think twice about stopping at this hotel again, dispite being a silver customer. Extremely disappointed. The first time I have been let down by Ibis.
