Our room smelt like toilets and it was so noisy, people shouting outside til 2am. Awful nights sleep. Very basic room and amenities.

Room 203 had a very poor shower and it appeared a previous guest had become so angry with this they had kicked out at the bathroom door. Lift not working and public areas looked tired in places. Staff were disinterested and it appears loyalty to Accor counts for nothing at this hotel with no recognition of gold member status. Charges of £10 a time to use the gym and £10 a day to park mean that the hotel's pricing is somewhat deceptive. We are due to stay at this hotel next month but are rethinking our options. We were advised by a staff member to raise our issues directly with the hotel which we did but 48 hours later we are yet to receive the courtesy of a response.

Windows were drafty and cold Sound proofing to neighbours was poor, e.g. can hear their shower Noisy guests opposite shouting along the corridor after midnight Introduction of a £10 charge for leisure facilities since our last stay

Was clean on entering the hotel. We checked in reception and went to our room on walking to our room pasted the lift it was out of order. Got to our room it was still day light so I opened the curtains and the windows were all wet from condensation the stayed wet for the 2 days we stayed. Entering the bathroom which was quite small on shutting the door it has a hole in the door. The was also no extractor fan in the bathroom.
