I arrived to the room and the temperature was approx. 30°C. Outside it was around 20°C, but it is not possible to open the window (only some 10cm and it was not helping at all) and vent the room, during my stay (4 days) the temperature constantly stayed very high (not really comfortable for sleeping)! Plus, I asked the staff to print me the invoice the evening before departure (to save time during checkout in the morning); the answer was NO, the system does not allow to print the invoice now, only in the morning. Is it true (in other hotels I can get the invoice printed earlier)?

It took us a while to get in to the hotel car park off the very busy road system & various roundabouts on the outskirts of Telford. Decent sized car park & we felt the £10 a night charge was reasonable. Be sure to register right away on check in. Arrived early as we had arranged an early check in as Accor members. Lovely welcome from Steph on Reception, who said that she was hoping to put us in an air-conditioned room due to the extreme heat. Apologised that there wasn't one immediately but would contact Housekeeping to arrange asap. We only waited for about 25 mins and the air-con was certainly very welcome. A special mention to Steph as she was absolutely great - very warm & friendly - a super first impression for us and any guest. The room was large, with a good sized en-suite & comfortable bed. Plus bedside sockets just where you need them for phoned etc. We really enjoyed using the pool during our stay, along with the steam room & jacuzzi. As Accor members this was complimentary for us but otherwise there would have been a £10 per person payment per visit. We felt this was quite expensive for guests, if it was possible to revisit the pool on another occasion during the day (as some hotels allow) it wouldn't have been quite so bad. Could be pretty expensive for a family. The changing room area little tired. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice and a decent continental selection with cooked meats & cheeses. We had poached eggs cooked to order, which were perfectly done. I am always dubious about coffee machines at a hotel breakfast buffet, the quality can be extremely variable to say the least. However the coffee here was great - clearly quality beans are used to ensure a good product for guests. One small gripe was that the lift was out of action throughout our stay. Not too much of a problem for us on the first floor but for higher floors and particularly for guests with mobility issues I'm not sue how they would manage - especially in the heat. A really good hotel that we will definitely use again if staying in the area & recommend to others.
