The room, the bar, the restaurant, the service was really great, but it was all ruined by housekeeping walking in on me whilst I was having a shower!

Entrance, checkin / check out experience was great. Room was tired, needed modernising, poorly designed, lacked any amenties, and the bathroom was poor, and water leaked everywhere when showering

Hotel room was clean, however amenities were not special. Bed was SUPER hard, felt like I was sleeping on plywood (my back actually ended up hurting). The only place to plug in the hair dryer and have a mirror was by the door. The lighting was very dim, hard to see. The iron did not work. The breakfast was good. Would recommend having coffee available earlier or provide coffee as part of in-room dining (24 hour). When I checked in, the woman who was at the front desk was very clearly sick. She was wiping her nose, sniffling and then touching things, room key - my credit card etc. This is unsanitary and spreads illness.

I was there for 3 nights as I was working in one of the nearby office buildings. I arrived early and the very nice lady on reception was able to check me in early. This was very much appreciated as it was raining heavily and I needed a place to dry off! Room was one of the newer rooms, very comfortable and clean. Shower has a little limescale in the shower head but over all was lovely. Breakfast was nice, a good range of options, the only small thing is the sausages, why must everything have a spice in it! a plain sausage is lovely!
