I will never stay in this hotel again, despite the convenience of the location. In my opinion the non-cleaning of rooms during stays is no more or less than a cost cutting (and hence service reduction) exercise. I have stayed in a number of hotels over the past 3 months and none of them have offered a reduced level of room servicing due to COVID. I believe that COVID is simply a convenient excuse for you reducing your costs. The air conditioning didn’t work and the room was unbearably hot, the fan provided to resolve the issue was ineffective. And being told that only 2 bottles of water are provided for the duration of the stay and additional ones are £2.95 each is pure profiteering.

The hotel is well located in a decent, modern area. The rooms (since our last stay nearly 2 years ago) are starting showing their age and the cleanliness has declined. This has been most apparent in the swimming pool area, particularly steam room (with even some algae noticalbe). The breakfast was decent, but you have to make sure you avoid the peak time.
