We would also like to share that a refurbishment programme has already started, including upgrades to guest room facilities and selected bathroom areas, as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the overall guest experience. We are delighted to read that you were pleasantly surprised by the hotel and that you appreciated our excellent location close to Paddington Station, yet set within the calmer surroundings of Paddington Central and near the canal. We are also pleased that you enjoyed the feeling of staying in a newly refurbished room, finding it spacious, clean, and comfortable overall. That said, please accept our sincere apologies for the inconveniences you experienced. We regret the disturbance caused by the nearby daytime renovation works, as well as the technical issues in your room, including the shower fitting and aspects of the lighting design. These points have been shared with our technical and project teams to ensure closer attention as the refurbishment continues. We are especially sorry to learn about the discomfort you experienced with the room temperature during the night. While the hotel operates an air‑cooling system, we fully understand how essential a cool and comfortable environment is for a good night’s sleep, and we regret that this impacted your rest.
