I returned again to the Ibis Budget Hotel, were I'm always welcomed by management & staff & my dog gets a special welcome, treats & water in reception area, she gets spoilt everytime & 99% of the guests love to pet her as she's super friendly, unfortunately the 1% of guests fail to read that the Hotel is Pet Friendly & feel the need to write a bad review once they leave ... the staff bend over backwards to help everyone & work very hard to keep the Hotel running like clockwork... a big thank you to everyone who works in the hotel & i will continue to stay here

Located near the town centre, very convenient. Rooms are clean with all essentials present, but does feel a bit basic. Can request for iron and ironing board from the reception. Quiet at night. No kettle in the room but you have hot water and coffee machine downstairs in the lobby. Very polite and helpful staff all around.

Arrived Sunday morning. Left luggage and were told to return at 1pm. We returned at 1pm to be told Room not available. We went back out came back at 2.30 to be given room 620. Top floor overlooking building site. Upon checking toilet seat was broken reported to reception at 3pm Sunday. Upon asking about late check out we were told ceck out was midday then until 2pm it was £10 per hour. We tgen were told 11am check out ??????? We also asked for 2 pillows from housekeeping around 3pm (they were delivered at 5pm) by the cleaners. The noise at 7am every morning from building site was awful. I know it's not your fault about the building site BUT you should advise people about noise disturbance. The smell of sewerage in reception is awful as you enter the building. We checked out on Wednesday 11am with the toilet seat still broken and by chance the maintenance guy checked us out. He wasn't told of broken seat until we told him. Basics really. Information obviously is lost in translation

While we cannot control external activities, we certainly appreciate your suggestion to inform guests in advance. I will ensure that this feedback is taken into consideration.
