We stayed for 2 nights with 2 children. We found the staff helpful and easygoing. The place was clean from top to bottom. We had a great time in the swimming pool and jacuzzi and a nice view of the castle. The accommodation was convenient and also really good value for money when you look at the other hotels in the area.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It had a very modern contemporary look. The room was well equipped with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was good and we did eat in in the evening one night where the food was also good. It was ideally located to explore the city.

We had the most uncomfortable 4 nights here. Shower-head was leaking and had extremely low water pressure. There was some issue with the flush. Whatever temperature control system the hotel follows made the room extremely hot at night. The bed was uncomfortable as the whole mattress kept moving. Bedsheets had several brown stains. Rooms need renovation. Overall not at all worth for the price that we paid. Not expected this from a brand like Novotel.

I found most staff were happy to provide excellent customer service. There was an error on arrival but I had kind service to fix it up. I say Most staff. There was one female staff member (dark complexion and hair) who made any enquiry an issue and gave several reasons for why it couldn't be fixed, or gave me new rules for the pool that were not written. It felt like I was providing her a service, not the other way around. In general my experience in dealing with her added stress and disappointment to an otherwise relatively pleasant stay. I stayed 5 nights. Due to the lift proximity to the room (409?) I wouldn't recommend that room for a long stay. Ms Unhelpful was not helpful in getting a room change.

Due to the central location I was concerned it would be noisy. This was not the case! Nice bathroom which looked to be recently renovated. There was no place to put suitcases except on the floor.
