Our first experience staying at a Novotel and we were very impressed. The executive room with castle view was gorgeous, with plenty of space and an extremely comfy bed. The location itself was a handy walk to iconic tourist spots like Grassmarket, the Castle and Greyfriars. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The only let downs were that the carpet of the carpet in the room was a little dirty. And the room service food, though tasty, was very expensive for what it was. That being said I would be happy to stay at this location again!

We will definitely visit this hotel again. Really comfortable, clean and walking distance to e writhing.

The location was very good, we took 2 adults 2 kids and we all liked the hotel. Swimming pool & breakfast both very good and nice friendly staff.

Location accessible for attractions.Atmosphere good due to different nationalities staying there.The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable.Im coeliac and well catered for.The service and staff were brilliant a thanks to Aroa and Enrico who were very helpful.The entire staff were friendly and courteous.The bar and restaurant are enjoyable with plenty to chose from.All in all very good value for money

Lovely hotel arrived at midday managed to park in the car park our room was not ready but let us park still the reception was lovely with a big christmas tree in reception which made it look really cosy the room was lively and also very clean everything we needed for our little trip
