Used hotel to be near T5 Excellent air on which was appreciated in this hot weather Friendly bar staff and lovely food Please don’t take away the tea and coffee facilities like your other hotel on Bath Road

I booked a one-night stay on May 27 through a booking engine. I received a confirmation from my credit card company of the payment. Upon arrival around 7PM, we discovered that the booking company had not made the reservation. The front desk person (Victoria) tried to help us out but was unable to. She then got assistance from the front-end manager (Shakeb) (forgive my spelling). Shakeb, was most helpful, and very patient as we worked through the situation. He was extremely professional and he greatly represented the ibis Hotel. We thank you for your hospitality. We did find it unusual to not have AC in the room. It was quite warm:)

Nice enough hotel, reasonably close to Heathrow Airport. The place could do with brightening up a bit, but fine for the price. I really enjoyed the Thai chicken curry in the restaurant. The only real problem I had was that the toilet in my room was very low. As an older person, it was a struggle to stand up after using it.

What else can be said other than, it's an Ibis. It does the job! The staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was pleasant. The bed was super comfy. There's definitely some maintenance and tlc needed for the rooms (shower was barely hanging on the wall and the bathroom door wouldn't fully close over). The food was decent but the bar/restaurant could do with more tills and till staff. When there's only one till serving a large group of people, and then a large queue is forming, it gets pretty stressful for the staff let alone the customers. All in all a pleasant stay!
