Have stayed in a number of IBIS Hotels but first time at this one.Seemed bigger than others that I have stayed at but extremely helpful staff and good atmosphere.Very welcoming and made the room welcoming re dogs with some dog pictures and some dog bones! Did have problem with the key card on two occasions but was quickly sorted by staff. Parking ok and an amounrt of grass for the dogs,although a couple of extra dog bins would be useful.

Staff very helpful. Breakfast was very good. Very quite for being so near Heathrow and we had the bedroom window open all night as the air condition didn't adjust.

Friendly welcome on arrival, comfortable bed, friendly staff, near airport. Only downside was the transfer time on the Hoppa to terminal 5 . Took 30 minutes, luckily we left sufficient time for check in.

I stayed for five nights for work reasons and it was a very pleasant stay, I was checked in speedily and efficiently by Sidney. The room was very comfortable . I asked for a late check out and the lovely Julie was able to arrange that for me. The staff in the restaurant were extremely friendly and efficient.

Having stayed the night at the hotel last year prior to a morning flight, we were delighted to find the same friendly staff again, along with the pleasant and well equipped bar and restaurant area just off reception, with food and drink at standard (London) prices. The free (public) bus service to the Airport, five to ten minutes away is also worth noting. Nice room again also.

We were pleased with the price and grateful to the helpful young girl who Changed us to a double room. Nice clean room with modern clean shower room. Common areas and bar a little university student like in decor but again nice staff and good range of drinks available. Easy check in and out with great access to Heathrow.

The guy who booked me in was very good but after that it went down hill. I noticed that when I bought beer I was not receiving a full glass. My bill was about £49. I guess a lost a pint over the night. Also there was not enough tea etc in the room. Had to ask for more and then still did not get what I wanted.

A simple overnight stay at Heathrow IBIS hotel was just what the doctor ordered—and necessitated by a 19 hour wait for connecting flight. Nursing a pint of Camden brewery, over delicious appetizers made the evening a pleasant prelude before a refreshing night’s sleep in the hotel tastefully appointed guest-room. Bravo IBIS.

Hotel great, 'Hoppa' buses terrible

The hotels at Heathrow need to club together and protect en-mass to the Heathrow airport operator about the dreadful nature of the hotel busses. One can wait a very long time, 30 minutes plus this time at T5 and in one case I waited more than an hour in T2, then a rip-off price (in most airports a local hotel bus is free) in an old-fashioned, dirty and polluting bus. It's much worse value than the Heathrow express, which for only 2 1/2 times as much goes much further in much more comfort, with WiFi, much more frequently and much ore reliably. Next time, despite your hotel being excellent, I'm staying at Paddington.

Friendly staff, nice breakfast, comfy bed but room too hot. A/c unit doesn’t blow out cold air and can’t open windows enough to cool the room.

not my best experiences of hotel life

I was there for a conference just down the road (didn’t want to stay at the main location for personal reasons) so all my meals were taken off site but I did use the bar and, obviously the bedroom... I initially thought everything was reasonable when in reception but was surprised to see key cards which had no logo on them, this smacked of cheap yet oiled make a much more positive impression if they had your logo/details on them. I then headed up to my room, it is something of a rabbit Warren and signage isn’t that great, it is especially unhelpful when during my stay I wanted to use stairs, for health benefits, but all I could find was the fire escapes, for which there was no indication that they were only fire escapes. Also, along the corridors, I was shocked to see the colour scheme which is reminiscent of a secure unit in a mental health hospital... I have visited people in such a facility so am aware of what they look like, how someone who had actually been a patient in there would have felt coming to your hotel I honestly could not say. As I say, the staff were basically helpful but could have been a little more friendly if I am honest. On one occasion I was left standing at the bar waiting to be served whilst the 2 members of bar staff busied themselves collecting glasses etc from the tables, they had both seen me and said they would be there shortly but it took about 15 minutes to get served.
