I don’t have a phone and am walking with a cane and happened to be quite sore that night I stayed. Yes I could have gone downstairs to ask for someone to knock on my door but I was too sore. With no phone I could not use the service there was in the room! Also a grip bar in bathroom would have been nice as toilet is quite low. Otherwise, nice stay and food in restaurant good.

We arrived and the room was so tiny we couldn’t even open a suitcase without blocking the door or bathroom. The hallway from the lift to the was so dated and genuinely felt like something out of a horror film. The room smelt musty and mouldy and the windows wouldn’t shut properly. I enquired with reception if there was any larger room to upgrade to and was advised there is only one room size. It was so awful we ended up not staying the night and went 2 doors down to the Courtyard by Marriott which was worlds apart from the Ibis. Australian’s call Ibis “bin chicken” and I couldn’t find a more accurate description of this hotel. Never ever will I stay at this property again nor recommend to even my worst enemy
