I must admit that previous accomodation was a desastre and I was pleasantly surprised to thd changes that were made in the meantime. Food was average, service was very much on the up and so all I can say is that I will stay there again.

I arrived and the staff straight away were really helpful! My room was excellent had one of the best nights sleep I’ve ever had, the bathroom was perfect such a nice shower, and in the morning the breakfast was spot on !

Staff usually lovely and kind, very accommodating for me. I’ve been seen as a regular customer. However the women who checked me in on Sunday afternoon was very aggressive and quite frankly rude. Got to my room, bed sheets stained and tv not working. Was very upset after working a long day and driving through the night to get to London. Last night and tonight I’ve booked somewhere else because I wanted to avoid the women on reception.

Nice welcome. Room was clean and adequately furnished. The bed was comfortable. We were under Covid rules, and the bar area was well spaced out and most staff were wearing masks correctly. The prices for drinks were reasonable for a hotel in London. Overall very pleasant.

Just the front door desk wasn't welcoming not helpful i wanted to pay cash but the cashier said 1p will have to go on the card I said I didnt want it shown on my bank statement whats the point paying by cash she said that's the company policy I wasn't happy to do that you need to change that rule

Reception was very helpful and friendly. All staff were wearing masks properly except for our waiter at dinner who continually wore his mask under his nose and at one point, served a lady on another table with his mask under his chin! Behind the bar he wore his mask under his chin all the time whilst talking closely with other members of staff, who didn't appear to be bothered by this. Some guests were wandering around the restaurant/bar and reception without masks and appeared not to be challenged by staff about this. Food was average. Room was clean and tidy. A request for extra milk in the room was dealt with quickly and efficiently.

As an accor member i was disappointed with the standard of the room. It was noted that the sweet bed and linen was provided in the room. That's why I booked. I was told by receptionist that the rooms are not ready yet and still refurbishing them! The breakfast was terrible and just microwaved and no butter for toast, just flora margarine. Which i could not eat. I paid £46.55 and will not be staying there again. The standard of cleaning was terrible, dirty unswept floor in restaurant. Wine glass was dirty, which i returned.

I am sorry to read that you were so disappointed, every single one of our rooms have ibis sweet beds and ibis linen so i am a little unsure as to how we mis-communicated this to you. With regards to rooms being refurbished we are not operating all 356 bedrooms at the moment as occupancy is much lower than normal, so maybe my team member would have been referring to the bedrooms in a section of the hotel that are not in use at the moment, again please accept my apologies this was not communicated clearly to you. I will share your comments with my kitchen team also as there should have been butter available, the hot breakfast items are freshly cooked in the morning and kept in a bain marie to ensure we don't keep you waiting too long, the same as if it was a hot buffet service. I am truly sorry you did not enjoy this. I would hate to think you will not stay with us again, if you do change your mind please contact me directly and i will happily oversee your reservation for you. Overall happy with stay. Staff nice/friendly and helpful. Room basic but expected from price. Very clean, and got a peaceful nights sleep. Only issue was the air con didn’t seem to work so through the night the room was very hot.

With all that’s going on with the pandemic I am happy that the IBIS Heathrow follow the rules ... Sanitisers in all locations of the hotel but only one downside which I don’t blame the staff on is that some guests who sit in the lobby area are not wearing face coverings and not following the one way route.
