Checked in for a few hours stay to catch a flight back. Location is very good as it’s a 10-min drive to the airport. Very pleased with the staff when she got us checkin in early without extra charge. I had comm with them prior about checking in early and had responded immediately to a yes with a fee but they will be able to set aside our luggages for free. Didn’t expect that they’d have us earlier.

staff overbooked and refused to take responsibility

We were sent to this hotel by American Airlines. The staff (very rudely) refused to honor the reservation (apparently they had overbooked their rooms). They waved us off, falsely claiming that our reservation had "really" been made at the other Ibis down the road (it was not), that this next Ibis "was only fifteen minutes walk" (more like half an hour, on a rainy night in January). They had no concern at all for the obligations they had assumed, nor for our welfare--they were only interested in getting rid of us as quickly as possible and covering for their error in overbooking. Totally untrustworthy (and very rude as well).

The hotel is located in close proximity to Heathrow Airport. Shuttles run frequently from right outside the hotel and provide affordable pick-up transportation from the hotel. The staff are all welcoming and friendly and the hotel provides the ideal rest and short haul stay prior to boarding a long haul flights:)

My room No 363 was realy cold because vent was blowing ice cold air at high speed,air conditioner was producing some heat but stil not enough to warm room up despite veniation ice cold was blocked by tape.i was always liking Ibis heathrow for adecuate room temperature but this time this room got me being sick of cold cold. Please check your rooms as I love to stay there.
