Once again we received a great welcome from Jordan and the team. We thoroughly enjoy staying at this hotel - all the staff are so friendly and obliging. The hotel is perfectly situated for access to Suffolk’s beautiful coastal resorts and discovering Constable country. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished and have recently been upgraded. Great customer service makes a stay a special experience.

The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is well maintained. The breakfast had a ton of options, was well prepared and one of the better ones you'll get in a UK hotel. The staff, on reception and over breakfast, were first class.

We stayed in the hotel a number of times pre-covid but not since it was previously repurposed. It was great to see some improvement and refurbishment works have been carried out since. Very polite staff and great service. Breakfast was great and an overall very nice environment.

We regularly stay at this hotel whilst visiting family in Ipswich. It is conveniently situated in walking distance from the train station, the marina and the town centre. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the room service excellent. The bar area is well appointed with lots of seating. We really enjoy the various choices offered at breakfast, all beautifully presented in a pleasant dining area. Most of all, we appreciate the welcome given by all the staff, those on the reception desk, in the dining area and bar. It's nice to be recognised as frequent visitors and feel the hotel is our home from home.
