2 years ago, we had booked a different hotel for a family Christmas break but their pool and gym were out of use so we had to find an alternative after one night. We moved to the Pullman and found it amazing. The staff were really helpful, comfortable beds, good gym and pool and memorable breakfast buffet. This year, with imminent birth of a new grandchild, the family travelled from UK again and the Pullman was our obvious choice. All the staff were as friendly and helpful as we remembered, the breakfast certainly did not disappoint and we also had a lovely evening meal all together in the restaurant. The location is great for walking to the city and a short walk from the train station.

Wonderful Front Office and FB staff, unusual housekeeping SOP thin walls

They say you don't get a second chance to make a first impression, Carolina at the Front Office, Gunawan and Ken at the restaurant have to get a special mention, I've made a mistake in my reservation and booked 4 rooms instead of 2, Carolina took care of that. A very impactful first impression. Very good location, walking distance to city centre with all the shops and restaurants, walking distance from the train station as well, cosy bar and restaurant, small swimming pool, nice sauna and fitness center. We stayed in 2 deluxe rooms with a connecting door, the room is very small, an unusual concept for the connecting door, TV remote control in one of our rooms is not working, we stayed on the 4th floor and we can hear all the conversation outside on the street. I was taking a nap in my room and the housekeeper just went in and went on with cleaning the room, I was woken up halfway and surprised to see the chamber maid, she nonchalantly went on with her business without saying anything, WEIRD. Nice collection at the bar, helpful staff, helpful staff at breakfast, nice variety and we saw a mouse passing by our feet while eating, other than those things, it was an OK weekend getaway.
