For a short stay (1-2 nights), Ibis was great. If I was staying longer, I would have needed a desk or working area.

Clean and welcoming. Casual but capable reception staff. Right next to (very smart) train station. Close to all the cafes and attractions. Rooms do vary considerably in size. Very good noise reduction.
