The hotel location is excellent for both city trips and business trips. With the stop for the streetcar right in front of the hotel it is very convenient for exploring the city, 10 minutes with the streetcar and you are in the center of Amsterdam. Royal Theater Carre and the Heineken Experience are within walking distance. You will feel right at home in the ibis Styles Amsterdam City Hotel. We have introduced enhanced hygiene and prevention measures to ensure your safety. The hotel is ALLSAFE approved.

The ibis Styles Amsterdam City is on the edge of the Amsterdam canals and the famous 'De Pijp' district. The Anne Frankhuis, Waterlooplein, the Hermitage, Dam Square, Madame Tussaud's, Kalverstraat and the Municipal Museum are all a 10 to 20 minutes' walk from the hotel. Also pay a visit to the Van Goghmuseum, the Rijksmuseum and the Rembrandthuis. Go for a walk through Vondel Park or Sarphati Park. Fancy something different? My room was on the first floor and it was very noisy at night. Additionally, there was no heating system in the room, so the nights were extremely cold. I requested a review of the heating system, but the staff only mentioned that the equipment takes some time to start. However, it did not work during any of the three nights I stayed. The breakfast was also disappointing. The food was of poor quality—only the yogurt was delicious. The bread and eggs lacked flavor and tasted bad.
