We decided to come to Amsterdam for a short break and chose the Ibis Styles Amsterdam City due to its location, which was near to the major galleries, but in a quieter neighbourhood away from the busy city centre. The room itself was quite small, but adequate for our needs. The only thing missing was a small fridge in the room which would have been good for chilling water etc. The hotel staff were so nice and friendly and accommodated every request we had. The breakfast was again quite basic, but freshly prepared and there was a decent variety of options available. As we had a later flight the staff kindly let us leave our bags after check-out so we could take advantage of our last few hours in the city. There was also a water dispenser in the lobby which was great for filling up bottles in the morning before heading out and about. All in all a friendly, relaxed atmosphere for a pleasant stay!

The hotel is in a great location, close to a public transport stop, shops, some great bars. Great view from the window (we got a room with a balcony facing the central street). The staff is pleasant, helpful, helps to orientate in the city - offers a map of places of interest. Breakfast is delicious. The room is clean, the bathroom is spacious enough. Very comfortable bed and pillows (for me personally). We will come back and recommend to others.

The hotel is very clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful and full of suggestions for local attractions. Good selection of food at breakfast. The Albert Cuyp market is just around the corner and is worth a visit. Would definitely return for a stay here
