Nice business hotel west of Amsterdam

Situated in the western outskirts of Haarlem, this hotel offers a rather calm environment with good transport connection to the north of Amsterdam or towards Alkmaar. Rooms are nice & tidy with a proper desktop for work. Personnel has been very kind and helpful to a non-native dutch speaker. Parking fees are very reasonable (hotel has it’s own parking). I have no clue if this hotel might be suitable for tourists, since they had to travel into the city by bublic transportation. Please check the connections by yourself…

Breakfast was poor. Old bread. Airco on the room wasn't working well. It was a very hot day and we were located on the 4th floor. It was very hot.

we placed member of our UK staff here for many weeks at a time & were extremely happy with the communication, professionalism and attention to detail, this was the hotel of choice for them to keep returning to so even in a pandemic this hotel delivered.

Dear Lady / Sir, There was a promotion on the wall outside of Ibis , saying : 69,99 euro per night. When I asked for the price for 3 nights it appeared to be 247 euro. 2 days later I confirmed my stay for 3 nights and the girl said that is was more than 300 euro. I explained that it has been offered for 247 and after a long time looking in the computer, she agreed and confirmed it in the computer. When I checked in the girl asked me my creditcard as a guarantee, she said. Immediately she wanted to cash more than 300 euro from my creditcard, which I prevented , telling her that the first offer has been only 247 euro. She looked for the boss and after maybe 20 minutes they agreed and I could pay what has been promised. But this made me quite upset. it has been clearly written in the reservation in the computer, but still trying to let me pay a higher price. Second: due to the virus situation they offer a box with the breakfast. But the bread looked to me rather old. I have told them I wanted my breakfast at 08.00 o'clock, so ehy do not they serve it in my room ? It has been waiting downstairs for 20 minutes, in the meantime the 2 girls in the reception were only talking about private things, not paying attention to me as a client. Finally something which does not has to do something with the service of the hotel, but with the interior of the hotel. On the floor of the corridor there is a carpet with lines in all kind of colors, curved which made the environment not a quiet place. I do not know which person has invented this type of carpet on the floor but it looks horrible. The same inside of the elevator. In total painted in at least 5 different colors, figures painted on the wall which made this small place of the elevator very unquiet. I expected to be in a place with nice service for the guests, because there were not many guests, but that has not been the case. I was disappointed. Best regards
