The stay was ok if you are just wanting a comfortable bed to sleep in after a busy day but the room was very cramped with nowhere to hang coats especially when they were wet and very limited space to put clothes. We ended up living out of our suitcases. Bathroom barely had enough room to move to get dried after a shower and you had to use the toilet at an angle. The extremely cramped space spoilt the stay. We have stayed in other rooms at the same hotel and they were much more comfortable.

Good hotel, but very very busy. Check in chaotic and rooms could be cleaner.

The hotel has a good atmosphere, ground floor very nice, good bar area and nice to meet people. The room was cold, noisy (with the trains), and the space between the 2 windows was filthy (dust and false fingernails which had not been cleaned for weeks).

Bad experience, the greeting when I arrived was not the best, felt strange that I had to pay before I went to my hotel, when I wanted breakfast the next morning I had to pay, could not just add it to the bill. The room was cold, and in the shower in the bathroom the water did not drain well. When I checked out, I mentioned that is was very important to have the company name and address on the invoice due to tax (company), but this was not added when it was sent to my mail address.

Small room. Heating controller did not work. No TV remote?? Very practical location

Excellent first impression, as we arrived a bit before normal check-in time but the helpful guy who checked us in found us an available room. Some people might not appreciate the view over the railway station, but we enjoy watching the comings and goings. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was adequate, but the croissants ran out. Felt lucky and relieved to be able to secure lockers to leave luggage in on departure day. When we first looked at the system, all lockers were in use.

Check in and check out totally chaotic. Noisy room and breakfast on the level of a hostel!

Hotel is in a great location, was ideal for my 2 night stay. My room was cold. I was told the heating came on when the temperature was less than 18 degrees. Not warm enough.

Good. Reception a bit odd. Not comfortable that he went in the back with my credit card to validate. Rooms a little small. Had asked for the beds to be as two single. Not enough room to split them. Otherwise good stay

Hurendious how I was treated by the manager for helping one of your customers with dyslexia to try and remember their room number. I was threatened to be thrown out and I had only just paid 1800e to this lady for my stay with my fellow friends. I was shouted at and fingers pointed and I tried to help a man with a disability to remember his room number as he cried out of embarrassment. The manager was no help and all and wouldn't give me her name when I told her I was reporting her she told me for the seventh time that she will throw me out and she was reporting me. Horrible I've never seen such discrimination towards a human with a disability. I am a business owner myself and deal with the public every day and that is no way to treat any customer. Horrible unprofessional management

Small room, noisy, uncomfortable bathroom, no soaps.

Dear NOAM K., First off all I would like to express my gratitude for you taking the time to share your feedback. However, I am surprised by your experience at our hotel, as this does not match what we strive for. I can see that you booked a Cozy Room, which is the smallest room type we have available. Our standard rooms are 5 square meters larger and also include a more spacious bathroom. . I am disappointed to read that the bathroom was uncomfortable and was not equipped with soap. This is of course not up to our standard and I do apologise for that. In the rare occasion that this does happen, please inform one of our staff members who will solve this issue for you immediately during your stay. Our rooms are designed to be soundproof, so the noise complaints you experienced surprises me. When this happens we encourage our guests to let one of our staff members know, as it could be that the window is not completely closed. In that case we can assist our guests or find a solution. I hope that you did enjoy your experience exploring the city of Amsterdam. If you decide to come back, I hope you will give us the opportunity to show you the true renowned Ibis experience.
