Too many people book places like this then try leave a poor review… I don’t get it! When you book a hotel like the “Ibis” you’re getting what you pay for a simple room which is a decent enough place to lay your head down for the night! If you’re wanting 5 star quality go pay for it! This hotel was great for the value, so I am saying for what we paid it’s 5 STAR!! The location is incredible, straight off your flight into the airport, in the airport there is the train station which takes 15 minutes and you arrive at the Ibis, I don’t think we could have found a better hotel for location and price!

From checking in to leaving we had an amazing experience at this ibis.we Had a few drinks in the hotel bar and also had a pizza, lovely food and great service. Highly recommend a stay here when visiting amsterdam.

The Ibis is located only a few minutes away from the Central Station and tram stops.It is a short walk into the city. Tour boats are located close by. The staff were welcoming and helpful. All the staff we came into contact with spoke excellent English. The room was typical of the Ibis brand. Not huge but big enough not to feel cramped. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Check out was easy using the key drop. We will be returning at the beginning of January prior to catching the Eurostar back to England.

The bathroom glass and windows were extremely dirty. There was no toothpaste or bathrobe in the bathroom. I asked for disposable slippers and was simply told that they were not available — no effort or care at all. The price is quite high, but the service does not match it. I had already paid through the website, yet I had to prove three times that the payment was completed. Overall, I am very dissatisfied.
