Mercury hotel is all you need when in Tilburg. Situated in the heart of the city it is easy to access from the Central station. I liked very much the atmosphere in the hotel. The rooms are big and comfortable. There is high speed wi fi. The only minus I would mention is central heating in the room which didn't work very well.

Room was clean and spacious, had a lovely room on the 5th floor with a nice view and plenty of light. Check in and check out were easy and fast. Breakfast buffet had plenty and a lovely selection. Staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you for the great stay!

I was upgraded to an apartment not directly connected to the hotel. After a 8 hr drive from Northern Germany all I wanted was a hot shower, unfortunately the apartment had no hot water no heating. The phone in the apartment was not connectable to reception so I called to advise. The reception were great and offered to move me from the apartment to the hotel but as I had already boiled water and washed and changed into night attire I declined. They advised it would be rectified next day. After another long day of work, I went back to the apartment and longed again for a hot shower ----STILL NO HOT WATER. Went to reception and explained to them, they then cam and helped me move from the apartment to the main hotel, they also tested the water and agreed there was no hot water

We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. Please accept our heartfelt apologies that you could not take a hot shower after your long journey. on that moment we were unaware of anything. Unfortunantely the problem was bigger than we expected and we are still trying to solve the problem for the appartment. We are very sorry that you could not stay in the appartement because of a technical issue. Had 10 days in the hotel, great location for bars and restaurants, shame my trip didn't include the Carnival weekend. Only downside is car parking is expensive with only a small discount for hotel guests. Answer would be to ride a bike like everyone else, but not practical for this trip.

I have stayed at Mercure Tilburg on several occasions and always enjoy my stay there. This most recent stay was equally enjoyable although my room location overlooked the bar which were incredibly noisy at night and I awoke 3 times during the night. The shower also did not drain properly which was a bit unpleasant. I am now staying again at your hotel this week and the person who checked me in managed to change my room location to something not overlooking the street. Your breakfast selection is excellent and the food of top quality.

This is our second time staying at the hotel and we returned because we enjoyed our stay so much the first time. I was with my partner and we booked the room mainly to enjoy the spa facilities. When we arrived we were told that the key card facilities were not working so we had to visit reception every time we wanted access to the room. When we went into the spa, we were disappointed to find that a lot of the facilities were defect / out of service, including the hot tub and many of the saunas. This meant that most of the facilities were very crowded. There were also a few groups of people shouting across the spa which made it quite difficult to relax. I appreciate that there isn't much that could be done about this but it did mean we ended up leaving the spa earlier than we'd hoped. It was a shame because we really enjoyed our previous stay.

We indeed had problems with our key system and I agree with you that it was very annoying, happily the problem is solved now. The technical issues in the sauna should be solved during your stay. We keep some of the cabines on purpose close because of the occupancy of the number of guests, the guests can use the other half of the cabine. If you have nuisance from other guests, don’t hesitate to inform was. We could have asked the guests to lower their voices. Please accept our heartfelt apologies that you did not enjoyey the wellness. We are very sorry that you were dissapointed in your stay this time and we hope that if you ever stay with us again, you will have the same experience as your first stay. Noisy first night but second night amazing!

The first night I stayed in room 103. This is on the front of the hotel and on to the main street, across from a church. I had a very bad nights sleep, despite having earplugs in. The noise from street revellers until about 4am coupled with the church bells sounding every half an hour, even through the night, was teh cause. As a result, I asked to change rooms and was given room 512 which was fantastic - so quiet and at the back of the hotel, so no noise from the street or the church. Customer service was amazing, all staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.
