Cigarette Smell in the room!

Mercure Team, I must say, I truly enjoyed the hotel property and all the amenities it had to offer. However the smell of cigarettes in my room was unbearable. The smell was coming through the outside vents as workers were smoking throughout the day and evening setting up the wine bar. I addressed this issue several times with the reception desk, asking them to take care of the matter, but I smelled it everyday. Another room was indeed offered to me, but at the cost of me having to move all my stuff again. I did end up switching my room at the very last night of my stay because the cigarette smell was just too strong. I just wished that the management team would have handled this differently by stopping the smokers outside.

We stayed there 2 days for the Awakenings festival, our room was really well-equipped and big, beds were comfortable and the breakfast was amazing!

Air Conditionning was not working , more than 30°C in the room The window are not well equip to avoid to have noise coming from outside in the room. 24.5€ for breakfast is by far too expensive, out of policy for companies 190€ in Tilburg , you could and even lust give a full speed wifi !!
