Lovely room, super friendly staff at the reception, bar and at the breakfast buffet. It seemed fully booked when entering the breakfast restaurant however it was not visible in the clean up. Tables were cleared and cleaned very fast. Absolute praise for the staff. This is our hotel to stay when back in Tilburg

I was staying at the hotel for about a week, and I was helped in every way possible to make my stay comfortable. The rooms are great, the location is exceptional right at the centre of the city, the food is delicious.

I have been coming to your Hotel for years, i have always considered it one of my favourites, a home away from home. I have brought scores of customers to your hotel, this time my group consisted of 9 people. Over the years, this has been the trend. To mark the restart of our activities and the first time the group got together after 18 months, obvious reasons, one of the group wished to raise a glass and offered a shot of his country's local liqueur. A shot, a two minute excercise, a small celebration. We were told that we could not do this in the bar, and that we had to move to the lobby. We did so. But we were then very abruptly stopped and asked to leave, because (I quote, she really said this, really!) " it is like buyong at Burger King and eating it at McDonald's". I will not comment. Rude and unpolite, bossy, arrogant, and completely out of focus, given the amount of money we spent at YOUR hotel on rooms, breakfasts, bar consumptions, etc. But no. Accused of buying at BK and eating at McD's, and thrown out. We had our 2 minute raise a glass celebration out in the street. It is your rules, and we obeyed, we are calm and professional people. Manners, tones and flexibility, maybe you can review, as well as my customer profile and history. What a great pity. I shall start searching for alternative solutions in the area, and I regret this immensely, for me and my customers, colleagues and suppliers. Oh, thank you deeply for lending us the shot glasses, and for all these years of great service and good times

In the center of the city with all the eating and shopping places around and at walking distance. The train and bus station is also at walking distance. Best view from the hotel, The church and the bells. Excellent.

I loved my stay overall the restaurant has great food, personnel is friendly and attentive and the location couldn’t be better. Having said that, the hotel is seriously understaffed, long lines at check in/out, also if you just want to ask a question. Housekeeping are very polite but inconsistent, half cleaning the room sometimes. The phone never worked so I had to contact front desk by WhatsApp but in the end our issues were resolved.

The location in the heart of town was great. I was able to park my bike in the guarded bike garage across the hotel for free. The hotel is modern and well appointed. The room was spacious. Fridge, coffee/ tea are great to have available. I was surprised to note that the carpet in the room was spotted and in need of cleaning. The staff was great. Breakfast was superb.

My experience was great. The room was nice and neat. All the necessities one would expect were indeed available in the room. From my room I had the parking garage in view, which was not a nice view, but I did not rent a view, I rent a room, and the room fully met my expectations.

Hotel was very run down, dirty room, very dirty windows. Dirty carpet, couldn't open window. The room stank. Stayed three night. Room wasn't vacuümed one time. Towels very poor quality, small. Cheap coffee and tea making facilities... Instant coffee, cheap tea bags. Stayed the week before at a lower rated hotel, Bastion hotel, all the facilities the were much better. Nespresso maker, nice tea kettle, nice brands coffee and tea. Nice big towels. Room very clean and we could open the windows.

The hotel accommodation was fine and the staff were very friendly. One minus though - I asked for a 07.30 am wake up call one Saturday, which they failed to do. I didn't miss any appointments but it could have been worse if someone had something very important to do or meet. Kind Regards Richard R.

The hotel building is a bit quirky to navigate through, but the hotel staff was very professional and courteous. I especially liked how easy it was to use the parking garage. I will definitely recommend the hotel.

The hotel has a center location in Tilburg. Everything is outstanding. Customer service is second to none. Breakfast could be expensive for some people but you have a lot of things, fresh orange juice too ! Coffee is very good. Rooms are big. You can use a complete spa service if you select a Privilege room and the gym or you can pay it if needed, Parking near by at a good price. so you won't be disappointed here !

The overall stay was one of worse stay at Mercure hotels, at the reseption I was not getting any upgrade for my 3 stays, the room giving was not as expected as the bed was not comfortable, the second day my room was not properly cleaned and they forgot to put toilet paper, towels, water and drinks at the fridge. The breakfast is average The only thing that is attractive is the location of the hotel and the spa

There is not always availability to give our guests an upgrade to a privilege room and we are very sorry that we could not give you the upgrade. Since this month there is no minibar in the rooms anymore except in the privilege rooms only the included soft drinks, we have a shop where you can buy products.
