After checking in to our room, I inspected the bed (as I always do). You have an extremely dirty and unhygienic mattress topper. It is full of dirt, dust, chips crumbs, blood stains etc. Asked for a room change at the reception, was not provided one as the hotel was fully booked but was offered to change the mattress topper with a new one. I waited at the room for more than half an hour and then the lady at the reception came and said she couldn't find any other mattress topper (unbelievable!!). Instead she just changed the sheets with new ones, while throwing everything on the bed to the floor!! We had to sleep on this bed that has the hygiene standards of a motel. We didn't have breakfast in our reservation and she offered it to us for free as an apology and we accepted it. In the morning, when we went for breakfast, they told us that we don't have breakfast included. When we explained what happened last night, they said it is not listed there, but gave it to us for free afterwards. I was staying for a conference so I went on to my conference while my husband was staying at the hotel. Around 11:30 am, while being at the conference, I received an email about checking out indicating that my check out time was that day half an hour later. We booked and paid during check in for a 2 nights stay so we had one more night. Luckily my husband was not at the conference and was staying at the hotel at the time, so he was able to talk to the reception and resolved the issue. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed with my stay here.

Great hotel in the city center. Very comfortable. Beautiful room. Kind staff. Some surprises in the lobby, i liked that. In the room its either airco or open windows. Both make noise, but thats not crazy :-)
