It was a nice, clean room. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was very annoyed that I stayed for seven nights and was only given 4 pods for the in-room coffee machine. When I ran out (only using 1 pod per day) and asked for more. I was told I would have to purchase more. I am accostomed to hotels replenishing coffee and tea supplies in the room for the duration of the stay, especially when I was only using 1 pod per day. Ridiculous.

Our apartment (2020) was spacious and generally clean. There was quite a lot of mold in the shower, which might have been why the wet room smelt strange. Issues with lightbulbs and towels were resolved quickly. Otherwise, a comfortable stay within a 5 minute walk of the tram stop. Prospective bookers should note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to the centre of Amsterdam. We didn’t notice much noise from the airport, so that should not be a deterrent to booking. The fire alarms work! We had to evacuate our room one evening, as someone had burnt something in their kitchen. The procedure was not well handled by staff, so maybe some instruction on what should happen in a future event would be helpful. Guests were not directed to go outside until the source of the alarm was checked, but milled around in the lobby, eventually being told by a staff member (when asked), that it was ok to return to rooms. This didn’t help get our son (who has anxiety) to sleep.

I had a wonderful stay at Aparthotel Adagio. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. The hotel is located south of Amsterdam—a bit further from the city center, but there is a tram station just a 5-minute walk away, making it easy to get to the center in about 20–25 minutes. Because it is outside the main hustle, the area is nice and quiet, which made for a great night's sleep on a very comfortable bed. My apartment came with a full kitchen stocked with cooking utensils, making it super convenient to brew coffee and prepare light snacks. Fast Wi-Fi, a good selection of TV channels, and a satisfying breakfast made the stay even better. Highly recommended if you want space, comfort, and peace!
