Check in has a bit of problem due to changing name on Trip.com but hotel didn’t update details. However, staff is very helpful and professional.

Stayed over bank holiday and upon arrival there was no one on reception to check us in. I tried phoning and could hear the phone ringing but no answer. After about 20 minutes someone arrived and checked us in. I asked where the bar was to be told it was closed Sunday and Monday. I asked about my welcome drink as a silver member and was eventually handed a piece of paper with my name on and told I could help myself from the fridge. When I came back from dinner I selected 2 cans of beer from the fridge and was juggling with them as my hands were already full. Suddenly the lady on reception who was dealing with another guest shouted at me to pay for them and not just take them! I hadn’t moved from the fridge. I tried to explain I had been told to help myself and had been given a piece of paper which I dug out of my bag and offered to the woman and it was snatched from my hand. This is not the treatment I expected from Accor group and found it totally unacceptable. I won’t be back.
