Once again, Mercure Hotel provided an excellent two night stay. I arrived very early in the morning, expecting to leave my luggage and return in the afternoon. Jorn B was at the front desk. He not only greeted me with a warm welcome but quickly assured me there was a room available. As with previous stays the room was comfortable with desk and chair and comfortable chair with a small table. They provide a small refrigerator with comlimentary drinks. Coffee machine in the room and also offered in the lobby during the morning. I appreciate their efforts to be wise stewards of the environment. Although this is close to the train station and a busy road the room is quiet. I like looking out at all the poeple riding their bikes. The hotel is a good choice and the attentive, helpful, friendly staff make it special.

I stayed for business in the hotel which makes for me a good breakfast and a comfortable bed very important. Unfortunately did I have too soft matrasses (tried both of the guest beds in the room), privately I would exchange them. The breakfast was good with everything available for a normal continental breakfast. Nothing extra ordinary (with experience in multiple international hotels of the same class I missed things like overnight-oats Greek yoghurt).
