Purrpose of our stay was a musical at the theatre. Its location allowed us to dine in the Mercure at our leisure before the start of the musical. As always, the night was a pleasant addition to the theatre.

I had a 2-night stay in Mercure during a work trip. Everything was good , the breakfast served from an early time so no issues having something to eat before work. The range and quality of food was also good. The stay could be even better if there was a coffee machine in the room instead of the instant coffee.

It is our pleasure to serve an extensive breakfast buffet starting from 6.30 am, ensuring our guests can have an energizing start to their day, regardless of their schedule. Nonetheless, we note your preference for a coffee machine over the instant coffee provided in the room. While we currently offer a selection of hot beverages and a kettle for convenience, we understand the desire for freshly brewed coffee. Our Privilege rooms do come equipped with a Nespresso machine for a more refined coffee experience, which might be an appealing option for your future stays. We are covering 2 stays since we didn’t receive an evaluation form for both. The first stay was a 10, the second not as good. There was less housekeeping service, no refills of coffee, etc. and we had to request more tissues. Apparently the men’s washroom off the bar area was poorly maintained. We have been staying at this hotel for 11 years and this last visit was not up to the usual Mercure standard. The Reception Staff are always VERY helpful and we feel bad if they have to handle problems and complaints which are not their fault.

However we regret to read that certain aspects of your recent stay did not meet the standards we aim to uphold. You can always request as many refills as you would like at our reception as we are always very happy to help. Additionally, your observation regarding the maintenance of the men’s washroom has been noted, and we extend our apologies for any inconvenience this caused. Nonetheless, we are pleased that you love our hotel’s location and have chosen to stay with us for over a decade. Our proximity to the city’s historic center and convenient access to transportation options indeed make Mercure Nijmegen Centre a prime spot for our guests.
